I wanted to say thank you for getting this out more. I had known Caleb and his family since I was a boy, I even worked at MFD with Caleb and Melissa when they first met. He was a great guy and his two boys came first before anything in his life. He had a great relationship with his parents. His mother and father were great as well, they would be the first to offer anything you needed. Melissa was crazy from the start including how she use to tell Caleb how she couldn't have kids of her own due to medical issues and she wanted to adopt. This had a special place in his heart because he could give some child a life like he was given, but months later... She was pregnant. Watching Caleb become a father was... Next level. Being a father was his dream, he put his family and boys before everything and everyone. Melissa on the other hand didn't like the fact that the boys were now the centre of attention and the boys idolized their father. Caleb was never a huge drinker till she kicked him out and tried to take the kids from him. Sure he would have a few drinks from time to time like any of us but never like he did after that. Her taking the kids crushed him. And Chris stepped into the picture within days of her kicking Caleb out. Chris was manipulated by her from the start, he was easily distracted as a meathead... Just a big guy without to much of anything else. That poor guy was seduced by her and manipulated into doing her bidding. I hope the boys never want to see Melissa again even though she's their mother. I wish we had the death penalty here so Melissa and Chris would both hang. Chris for doing it and her for being the puppet Master behind all of it, she is the true face of evil. For anyone that wants to know, Caleb's boys are with Caleb's aunt and uncle and are doing well.
@tinazimmer4304 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for this comment about Caleb and I'm relieved to know that his boys are together, safe and being well cared for. This case is sad for a number of reasons and it's also infuriating to know that the police could've stopped the mom and Caleb from being murdered had they actually investigated the father's death. Instead they chose to overlook the obvious probably because Melissa's family being Police officers and as far as I'm concerned, that police investigators all have blood on their hands and they should be charged with a corruption and 2nd degree murder.

Cops are the worst. I had this childhood friend who loved cops, but he never finished the 8th grade one year shy of being able to be a cop. He made friends with this cop and brought him on our annual hunting trip, I was pissed off and the cops picked at my son the entire time and then shot a tiny little deer acted like he was having sex with it then left it laying saying he didn’t want it. He would also cheat on his wife and girlfriends and send the sex pictures to my friend. What a POS. I hate cops.

@pink_alligator3 жыл бұрын
They were obviously not, especially not once Caleb had them alone, single male with custody? the court only needs a slight hint of maltreatment and they'll have no hesitation in taking the kids from him. It's also not very rare that moms can feel like they own the children and become very nasty when they're not allowed to be the absolute authority. That's when coaching might start for example and as we say here... attempts to hint that their father might be a murderer to police
@llyg48483 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure there’s more to it than what we’re hearing, I think that the courts deemed who is stable and who is unstable, it’s evident here that the mom was pretty unstable hence why he got 100% custody

No the mom left touring Canada and didnt show for Court, thats why she lost custody .. and male or female, the children are awarded to the Primary Caregiver, this is usually the female but can be the male .. yes kids need Both parents, but the main custody will go to the Primary Caregiver because thats who bonds and spends the most time with the children .. Imagine being this selfish and short-sighted. Even if she really did hate him enough to kill him AND his family, not once did she stop and think about her kids and what would happen to them if she failed. Now her kids have no mother, no father, no stepfather and no grandparents. Smh

If you look at the left hand column of the autopsy report you can clearly see Bridgett was strangled, any pathologist should have recognised those tell tale injuries straight away. It was bad enough that they just glossed over the injuries to Bill but you really have to ask how they missed this. I’m surprised they didn’t rule Caleb’s death natural as well, I wonder if Melissa’s family being in law enforcement had anything to do with not investigating the first two murders?

Exactly! I hate when people like him make up BS like Caleb and his parents were abusing and mistreating the two kids he had custody of, so he had to kill them!!

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking!! Caleb wasn't shown any mercy, that's for sure.

...maybe you should've taken into account that you had children before you decided to murder people and risk going to fucking jail? Especially now you've wiped out the other side of the family and increased the chance they're going into foster care.
