"The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell" is a phrase that is in biology textbooks everywhere, no matter what school you went to, at some point in your teenage years some textbook at some point said those exact words. Its odd..its a mix of happiness and depression in my kids...
@jbentley-xt8oi6 жыл бұрын
fran Well its not that they are diagnosed with bi-polar, but they have hints of it. They are impatient, they believe that they know what people think of them, get easily upset when we say "no," to them or change something. But their mother has borderline personality disorder with bi-polar as a sub diagnosis (from many doctors and therapists over the years), and she's home with our kids most the time so they could be inspired to follow my wife's patterns of behavior and how to respond to certain things. My wife is getting better since I've met her 14 years ago, but just doesn't seem fast enough the way our kids pay attention to everything they see and hear. But yeah..seems like the older(mature) she gets the better she gets with recognizing and controlling her emotions..

some traits that are linked to long, repetitive protein chains of the same amino acid (ie huntington’s disease) can be inherited from the father even if the father didn’t have the trait himself because males create sperm cells throughout their whole life and it’s very easy for mistakes in translation to occur with those repetitive chains, resulting in elongated proteins. this doesn’t really happen as much with the egg cells because they aren’t constantly being created.

I inherited bipolar 2 from my father, tot ptsd because of my father, eyes from mom, trust issues from both, internalized homophobia from my mom..

I was balding (found a treatment) and looking back at my mom family no one suffers from this problem, my grandfather had full head of hair but on my dad side, my dad is bald and my grandfather is bald so I don’t see how that comes from mom side also the other factors don’t apply to me as I’m very healthy stress free as I do a lot exercise and have full control of my emotions

95% of my genes come from my dad’s side, and the rest from my mom. It’s weird that I look like my dad and my sister like my mom yet people always say we look like twins and it doesn’t help that our mom dressed us like twins till I was 8 and my sister 10. Now, she buys us clothes of the same style but different colours.

I look like, have a similar personality, and have the same interests as my mom, while my brother strongly resembles my dad and has the same exact likes, dislikes, and behaviors as him. My brother is like the mini version of my dad. This makes my dad favor my brother over me for sure. He’s the favorite for him. My sister is a good mix of my dad and my mom! She’s in the middle of them, while me and my brother are one or the other.
