What a fun challenge! I truly love both of the kaffe quilts. The fabrics and patterns selected perfectly highlighted these selections. As far as the competition, I love Donna's winter rose fabric and John's country pride fabric. The competition ended in a tie! Please keep making these fun to watch videos.

Hi from Hamburg, Germany. Last week I found a video from Fabric Cafe. Then I immediately bought the book "Easy Peasy". The patterns are suitable not only for beginners. They are also great for quilting beginners. I have just been looking for such pattern. This was a good fit. Plus the size is great for a first or quick quilt. I like Donna's kits the best. Thank you Donna lol. I have been trying to find fabric I like for the mudslide quilt. Very pretty. I do like John's floral selection. They are all beautiful quilts. I just love your Challenge video's. On this one I loved Donna's pick for the Bright and Bold. I loved the flowers with the pink and green together. John won for me on the Floral fabric. I loved the rose fabric that he choose. Now on the holiday fabric one I wasn't to fond of either one. That is because of it not being my type of fabric. You both did a great job, and I enjoy watching your videos.

This was fun to watch. For bold, I have to pick Donna. For floral, I was torn. I preferred John's focus fabric, but you both went with the neutral tones for the other 2 and I wasn't a fan. Holidays was also an issue. I loved Donna's focus fabric. I wish she had concentrated on the teal/ aqua color instead of playing it safe with red and green. John's choice was too predictable. I would have liked to see maybe one of wood fabrics for the redand the bandana for the blue and maybe a metallic for the white.

I hope you do this challenge again - maybe even use another staff member - this was fun. Re. my choices for voting: BRIGHT & BOLD - John; FLORAL- I really liked Donna's, but the Kaffe fabric in the background's quilt was such a contrast and distracting (because it's so bold) perhaps it made Donna's look too dull or boring to others. I liked John's, but the #2 fabric looked like it had too much of an underlying yellow to the gold for me. So I guess I'd say Bright & Bold is a tie. For the HOLIDAY challenge: I would've preferred more of a contrast in #2 & #3 fabrics for light & dark. Also the focus fabric just wasn't my cup of tea. John's choice of a paisley was a nice change from stars in so many patriotic prints we see. I'd actually choose those RWB paisleys for many of Donna's 3-yard quilts. So. I guess John wins the trifecta for me here. 😊
