Reef Tank Bubble Algae Update

Sadly I made the mistake of turning on the protein skimmer in the middle of treatment. I definitely saw the bubble algae dying off during the short time the fulonazol was in the water column. Going to give it another round this time with no protein skimming for the entire duration of the treatment. Stay tuned.

Nice corals as always man! Youre right vibrant has vinegar in it but only requires one dose per week personally didn't seem to notice a carbon dosing effect, got rid of the bubble algae in my nano in close to 4 weeks though, took a while. Best of luck, waiting to see your results with flucanozole!

All your coral always look great. Love your coral selection. I recently bought a C-ray 200 and aim to get similar coral as you had under that light. What custom program did you have it set at throughout the day? Did you use any pre-set settings?

Moe how do you like the Nero 5? Do they sync up nice? I can't decide if I want to try these out or just go with the MP40's

Why doesn't you use vibrant? 🤔

Remove what you can and soak that Nero in vinegar and then dose Vibrant! There is no need to stress the tank or corals.
