We just moved from Louisiana to MIssouri. It cost a lot of money to move and I was thinking we did something wrong. But God has showed up on the end of it in so many ways. My husband lost his job but he also was offered a job that pays double his last one. There are so many other small things that I'm like, 'Wow. What a great Father I have.'

I just love you. This is so spot on! Kingdom homeschooling doesn’t come without spiritual attack. I learned that pretty soon after bringing my boys home from public school. The fear, the uncertainty, the bad attitudes, etc. It’s also so easy to be in the flesh and make things about ourselves, rather than abiding in Him. It was like as soon as I was obedient and professed my desire to follow His plan for us, bam, there was the devil trying to derail us. I don’t blame him, there’s nothing more powerful than a mother discipling her children. Of course he was mad! But when I realized what was happening and took hold of the weapons graced to me by being covered in the blood of Christ, I reminded the enemy who he was messing with, that he will have no foothold here, and he is already defeated in Jesus name. It’s happened a few times, and I’m sure he’ll try again. But Jesus! One foot in front of the other. With prayer on my lips and my eyes on Jesus. Don’t quit mama’s, the devil would be delighted.

I’ve really been wanting to give up homeschooling because I feel like a failure. Most days we don’t even get all our work done because of the distractions from my younger 3, plus the house always needing something cleaned, and I feel it’s impossible and I’m so overwhelmed but this gives me so much hope. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and speaking truth.

Thank you Sherry, I appreciate your encouragement. It was very timely for me as I’ve been considering defeat in my homeschooling recently. I just had my 7th child this past fall and it gets pretty overwhelming at times! So there were many takeaways from this video for me! I’m going to watch it again in the morning and write them down! May Yah bless you in your dedication to encourage others! ❤

This was so timely. We’ve been homeschooling a mere 21 years, 5 to go after this year, lol! My negative brain still gets to me sometimes. Your encouragement is so helpful to the young moms AND to us older moms!! Thank you for pointing us back to Jesus! 💗

This video was so timely. Our family has been through some hard times the past few months. We loss a very dear family member to cancer just before Christmas. My son was in a car accident that totaled our only vehicle a few weeks ago( thankfully he & the other person are ok). We are having a hard time finding a vehicle. Today the vehicle we borrowed to go to the grocery store broke down. Life is hard, but this video reminded me not to quit. Satan is trying to discourage my family & make us give up. What has kept me going is memorizing scripture to recall it often & singing hymns. Thank you Sherry!

Sherry, your videos (podcasts, blog posts) are such a comfort to me. You always discuss what we’re all grappling with and provide such practical encouragement and gentle exhortation to keep going. Ps: that sable brown is such a lovely color on you. ❤️

Please pray for us. We were in a serious car accident on Christmas Day night. My husband Kenny is having debilitating headaches and is having surgery today (shunt put in). I have a broken back in two places and I have to step away from homeschooling for a season.

I wish I had this encouragement in September when I was going through a terrible time and put my 6th grade son in school. It's January now and I regret it badly. I worked out some personal concerns of mine through a lot of prayer and council. Now I'm in a place to decide to let him finish the year and start again or take him out before the 2nd semester. Academically he is doing the same if not worse, he was always the one who had a hard time with school work and concentration/focus but he is enjoying the friend situation for he loves people. And I know that's not the reason to keep him there. It's him resenting my inconsistency. Please pray for my doubts and for him to have the desire again to be at home. He's been homeschooled since K and did show an interest in giving it a try part of the reason I agreed along with my trial. Thank you for the sweet videos you put out to help us moms in any way God sees to use it. -Rachel

Thank you for your video, they always make my day! Such a Holy Spirit moment that you mentioned Joshua. I've been reading the book of Joshua and how God killed the enemies with hailstones and yet he had the Israelites fight war after war battle after battle to inherit the promised land, even though he could have accomplished the same thing with a quick use of the weather, but he didn't. The battle is just as much for us as the Promised land. Thank you for your encouragement to keep going and continue in obedience.

That's a tight spot for sure! Sometimes we need to take a stand, other times it is a test of our patience in the gentleness of Christ. I pray God gives you the wisdom to proceed for His purposes in your lives ❤️
