Thank you! I watched another video and still couldn’t get the thread to go through the take-up lever. I’ve been sewing for 50 years and I had already spent an hour just trying to thread this thing. Your detailed instructions helped me get the thread through the take-up lever which was all I needed!

I have a brother 6000 which has the same bobbin winding mechanism as yours but the bobbin isn’t spinning. I hear the sound but the bobbin isn’t spinning. I haven’t used the bobbin winding mechanism in a while.

Have you tried flipping the bobbin winding post back and forth to make sure it’s fully engaged?
