The amala itself is a little bland but that red pepper stew with the beans sauce and the ewedu( jute leaf) is heavenly. It just makes you satisfied and settles your tummy🙂

The whole dish is similar to tuo zaafi with ayoyo and stew. I know not all Ghanaians eat it, but you have a similar dish.

The food presentation was on point & everything looks super delicious!! However at an event, it pays to delegate duties to others in order to make things function efficiently. Taking things from a small mom pop restaurant to a business who can successfully transition & go mainstream. 🤦🏼Got folks waiting too!! And that's a really big NO-NO in food service!!

Yes now! Just like we all love eating all the delicious Igbo food, especially the stews. Nobody cooks ogbono like my Igbo sisters!! I've never had abacha, looking forward to trying it one day.

Labour is very expensive abroad. I cater abroad and sometimes u just have to do everything alone. Cos Nigerian food catering many are not intrested

It does not work like that abroad. In Nigeria when I cater I have enough staff. But in London its so difficult and expensive. I do it alone at my oga place. Sometimes I do wish it was easy to take my crew in Nigeria to the uk

It's the Yoruba native food, sometimes served at parties. There will be other different party dishes, but this food is for people who want native food. But I've never seen people line up outside line this.

@@patriciapowlette7406 That is very tasty food, thoroughly cooked, with not an ounce of preservatives in them. The red stew, the sauce is usually made with tomatoes, onions and pepper, with your choice of meats or fish, and oil..... the oil is too much in this case. But some people like it like that. The green stew is made from jute leaves. Jute leaves are chock-full of nutrients. Google it. The brown thing that first goes in the bowl is made from dried yams....African yams. That one you may not like. Most people who taste West African foods like them.
