It's a good thing we found this lonely cabin in time before the great snowstorm. Now it is time for us to rest, to settle into a quiet sojourn from our long adventure. There are many quilts and furs and blankets and pillows. The fireplace roars. We have a ceiling high stack of fire wood and some more outside, just beside the cabin. There are plenty of nuts, dried and preserved fruits and smoked meats, enough to last us a months if need be. We have no choice but to stay here and the simplicity of this fact delights me and calms my spirit. Perhaps I'll nestle into a warm bed and read a cozy book. Or maybe I'll gaze out the window and watch the snowflakes collect on the pane. Or maybe I'll just sleep and perchance, I'll dream
