Not many will understand the effort and expertise that went into this almost 7 minute video. This is monumental and if I ever have to show people what the southwest is like in less than 7 minutes or less, I'm sending them here. Amazing work.

Just found your channel from watching Peter McKinnon. We live and film here in the southwest. We make off-grid living and van life traveling videos. So, I'm inspired by your work and your channel and your van - so cute!. I don't shoot film (anymore - that's all we old folks used to have. I appreciate your dedication to making beautiful, inspiring, and quality videos. We need more of those. That's not easy on KZbin. It's lovely to see the success you're having. Thanks!

Amazing piece of cinematography, beautiful scenes and awesome photos. Emotions everywhere. Cody, my man, I haven't got a lot of time to spare lately on watching my favourite youtubers (second kid on the way, promotion and more resposibilities at work), so I appreciate 6 minutes of great choice of music, sounds and visuals, that I can appreciate watching during one of my own few downtimes - a lunch.

Monument Valley, Arches Nat Park, and Dead Horse State Park right next door. That certainly does cover a lot of photo and viewing diversity within a relatively small area. I'm left wondering what caused them to be the only people present when the arch with dawn glowing on the underside at 5:00 was taken. (Forget its name.) My own experience was less pleasant, as we shared it with several groups, including a tour bus full of Japanese tourists, every one of them with camera and tripod. Once I realized that concession and courtesy were not the protocol of the moment, my elbows and tripod got me a turn at bat, resulting in almost exactly the photos he has here. Fun times. Nice video which makes it look a lot easier than it was.

Great video. Your images are wonderful but the non-verbal characterization helped by very good sound editing, and brilliant timelapses brought it all together.

I can recognize almost all these shots.. How long were you down there? takes a while to enjoy so many of these locations. like 4:08 park avenue, short and sweet hike right after entering arches (mostly), 0:08 that's down the bowl from delicate arch. seems like just one day there.. I hope you come back to enjoy some more of the many great locations Utah/Arizona has to offer.

Loved your film, both the stills, the time-lapse, the GF humanizing some shots, the flash-forward/music sequence closer. Just one request: ignore the temptation to use the "scratchy framing" effect. It distracts the eye from the central work: your photography. Thank you.

Not even close, almost always packed, however in the colder months there are fewer people. this is most likely mid march since the snow is gone & the temps are warm enough to have rain.
