Ear Biscuits has been one of my safe places for years now. I live alone so especially during the worst of the pandemic I listened to you guys a lot while doing almost everything (dishes, taking showers, laying in bed trying to fall asleep...). I laughed with you, cried with you and sometimes I even catch myself replying to you haha Here's to ten more years! :D

My favourite moments were 1) when you were talking about your awkward celebrity encounters and Link said he was close enough to John Mayer to be able to throw a rock at him and kill him, and 2) when Christie was at her doctors appointment and the doctor asked where she went to college, after which he asked Link and he said "bouys creek elementary"

“That boy was raised by a cow for a week and a half” that is what lives in my head rent free. That video is now my favorite video on the internet, it’s funny, heartwarming, stupid, it’s an escape from reality. I love it to death. Also Rhett, your wife is a gem. I have seen her liking the same things I have on IG and I just hope she knows we see her and we know her compassion and her heart.

Ear Biscuits changed my life. I watched for the first time when I was in a faith crisis and experiencing severe rapture anxiety during 2020. My husband encouraged me to watch your deconstruction stories and it brought me so much comfort and started my own deconversion. I’m now an agnostic atheist, infinitely happier & feel more free than I’ve ever been, and rewatch the lost years and subsequent deconstruction updates regularly. I haven’t missed an episode since. I love and appreciate you both so much! Thanks for your transparency in all you do! 🩷

I had the unexpected joy of seeing Brandi Carlisle live at the San Diego fairgrounds, years after I became a fan and years before her current renaissance. It was like stumbling across a unicorn. I heard her music playing in the distance, and simply wandered over to what I thought was just her music on speakers. Nope, there she was, singing in person. I don't know who managed her PR back then, but I had no idea she was there and there were only a few other people standing nearby. I enjoyed the intimate concert, but I also felt like more people needed to appreciate and benefit from the magic. I have to find her cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" now.

I wanted to comment on Rhett’s topic near the end, regarding being less attached to responses (positive or otherwise). This is something that I’ve journaled about and pondered over the past year, and now the successes I’ve found with my creative pursuits are met with a neutral feeling- only because I don’t want any amount of feedback to deter my own personal value on my work… and by extension, myself. It’s different because Rhett and Link have a business and employees that depend on them. I don’t know what that’s like, so I won’t comment on that. But I do follow what he’s describing, and it’s comforting to hear someone who’s very successful express those feelings on a large platform. I’m still trying to find peace with it (idk if I’ll ever figure it out either lol), but I hope Rhett can find peace with it, too.

My friend used to work at the ski resort where Link embarrassed himself. As in, they were working in a different part of the resort that day. I immediately texted them upon listening to that episode to see if they had caught a glimpse of them or if they knew the employee that Link had interacted with (they did not). I'm a pretty casual Ear Biscuits listener, so I wouldn't necessarily say that that story lives rent free in my head, but I do think of that episode immediately any time I see or hear anything about Ear Biscuits (or just any mention of Link doing sports).

Congratulations to you Rhett and Link, on reaching 400 episodes of #earbiscuits. Well done!! I am not sure when I joined the listening party but, it’s been a while, and I love it!! Straight women usually use perfume to 1. smell ‘nice’ (in their mind), and 2. to attract straight men. As a straight woman myself, I can imagine a lesbian wouldn’t opt to use perfume because it would send the wrong signal out to the world i.e., men, hence the reason why they choose not to use perfume and simply smell clean/soapy.

I've been watching the podcast video for a long time. The "sorting the mail" and the shower window stories are forever in my mind. Also, I remember an episode that didn't have a video where R&L were talking about being remembered after death and bits of that live in my brain. Rhett talking about the escalator in Target - I think from GMM - I think of every time I see a target. And link saying "I love Walmart. Walmart tastes good to me" - also from GMM - is a daily memory lol I really like the new R&L videos. They're hilarious! If I didn't know R&L, though, idk if this would be the content I'd look for on KZbin. I'm old now, and I usually look for 10 min or under videos for something specific. I do watch GMM daily; it's part of my daily routine. Love you guys

I know a lot their lives have been discussed on Earbiscuits but I'd love it if they wrote a book about about it. Childhood, school, college, work, deconstruction. A book can go so much more in depth and I think it would be a facinating read especially the thought processes through the youtube years. Maybe it's something they'd like to do individually but a joint book with both points of view would be wonderful but admittedly a time consuming project. Hopefully something for the future.
