I really wish I'd gone to Baarlo before they shut the place down! We'll never see Stock Cars going that fast again. I was 18 in 1998 (the final year) and me and some mates decided to go sadly one of the girls couldn't get a passport in time and tbh I was the only true Stox fan in the group so we ended up going raving instead.. Now I'm older I think to myself I should have just got on my motorbike (RVF 400, V4 engine, Scorpion exhaust, sounded sweet was on the same frequency as a V8) and gone on my own, I'll always regret not going and seeing Jnr Wainman win it for the last time!!
