Hello Ann. This is the best tutorial for momigami paper I have seen. I have tried it in the past, but my paper has always fallen apart. Perhaps I have been a bit impatient. This has given me some ideas for alternatives types of paper. I love your finished project. Great tutorial ❤️

HI Nina Thank you so much! I did use quite thick brown paper on this project. I haven't tried it on thinner paper. I believe you would have to use the starchy coating on thinner paper. Good luck. Look forward to seeing your projects 💕

I tried momigami but I think my paper was too thin and it tore a lot. I love how your pocket worked out. I'll have to try again with thicker paper. 🙂❤

This pouch turned out amazing! It tried Momigami one time and it didn't turn out, what kind of lotion did you use? I think mine had too much shay butter.

Hi Tammy, yes it turned out fine. I just used a cheap hand cream, nothing fancy. Quite light not thick. I think some people use oil but I haven't tried that. Different weights of paper would need more or less. I think the technique of folding first helped the process. Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting 💕
