​@@justinshope3659 basically he didn't make 18k profit that's what he made in total, when u dropship you're buying a product from a manufacturer and then directly shipping it from the warehouse to the customer, once a customer places the order and gives their shipping info you just type that into the shipping address and boom the manufacturer will send dat bit to them. He makes a small percentage of the sale as profit actual profit since he needs to buy the sweater using the customers money to send to them

Yes expect poor quality and returns. What most do is they don't reply to costumers because they don't wanna lose money. And keep the costumer unhappy and scammed. don't be like that. Normally when you dropship your buying a product from a manufacturer and then selling it to a customer for a higher price then the manufacturer is selling it to you. So what that means is you dont have to sit there with a ton of sweaters in your house, you buy the sweater from the manufacturer and ship it directly to the customers house using the money that the customer just paid u, and you keep the rest profit or what have you. Hope dat helps :p

Here's the thing. In dropshipping, you are selling products that you don't physically own - a supplier who owns a lot of that stock will be providing the products. Consider this: I am a person planning to sell heated jackets (just an example of a product, this can be any product) on my website. abc (Assume that this is a supplier) happens to have a lot of the product that I want to sell. I will tie up with them in order to sell that product on my website, let's assume that abc charges 25$ for each jacket (including shipping charge), and I sell it for 50$. So, that means that another person that plans to buy it will have to pay 50$ - the 50$ will be received by me, but I will have to pay 25$ to abc to actually give the product and ship it, so basically I'm just selling the same product but costlier and I don't have to do anything. Let's assume that xyz wants to purchase a jacket. xyz places an order, buys it for 50$. I receive the 50$, but I have to give abc 25$. Then, abc will ship out the jacket and deliver it to xyz. Here, I have made a total income of 50$, but a profit of 25$. The advertising of the website is done in order to attract customers and to get customers. Something similar, called Affiliate Marketing exists, where you advertise for SOMEONE ELSE, and every time somebody buys from the website, they get paid a small percentage. If you have watched the entire video, before the point where he is about to start paid ads, he says something similar to "I could pay somebody to do ads for me", which is basically what affiliate marketing is.
