Ha! "Best China"! Enjoyed the video. Loved the sizzling sound. Mmm! I also like things a little on the burnt side. It's nice hearing her stories.

You are so precious. It was a joy watching you share your childhood sandwich. I also grew up on bbq'd bologna except ours was on toast. Again, thank you for sharing and bringing back so many memories of my childhood.

i love momma Debbie ! this reminds me of when i was stationed in Louisiana and the mess hall had for breakfast for those that wanted it...fried bologna (instead of bacon) , eggs and grits and lots of Tabasco sauce ... i guess it was a southern thing . .i am not a steady fan of eating bologna, but when i do; it has to be all beef ,as do hot dogs .. i like trader joes too.. their nut department is my favorite... roasted pepita seeds .

My grandfather loved these!! I remember having these as a kid. Also, my grandmother passed down her own cast-iron pans to me, so I will have to try this. Both my Grandmother and Mother are older as well, and they have done this exact thing for my future but via note cards, and I have greatly appreciated them for doing this. Love this! Thanks for sharing :) p.s - Love the added Julia Childs sign off.

My mother was 42 when she had me. She served in WW2 and It was quite interesting growing up with much older siblings who were already out of the house.

I want to try this! I still love bologna sandwiches from my youth but I have never had it with BBQ sauce! Would love more childhood and family recipes, please. Since I live alone, I really appreciate your recipes that are for one or two people. I know these videos are for your family and public opinion doesn't matter, but I enjoy watching them all the same.

My grandma would buy bologna from the butcher shop where they made their own bologna and they'd slice it fresh when you got it. They'd slice it thin or thick whatever you wanted. She never cut her bologna so it always had a big bubble in the middle. I thought that was fun to eat. Never had it with BBQ sauce but now I want to try it. Grandma used Miracle Whip as well. I've seen people cut their bologna slices into quarters so it doesn't bubble up, I like your idea more but it was still fun biting into the bubble. It would make me giggle.

Does it have to be Miracle Whip? Can I use Best Foods/Hellmans?
@AtticusShafferVlog2 жыл бұрын
Sure, if you'd lie to, you can! But Miracle Whip is what makes it special in our family. 🙂

Trader Joes stop selling my favorite whipped raw honey. I'm STILL angry and it has been 2 years now. And yes mayonnaise is gross!
@lennybuttz21623 ай бұрын
You can buy raw honey and whip it yourself it's pretty easy. Raw honey scares me, I did notice a flavor difference but I don't think it was better? Whatever you like. When I was a kid I drank milk right from the cow, not from the store, I loved it even though it had a sort of swirly color it tasted really good but I wouldn't do that today there's too much going on with our food now.
