I can relate, as a punishment, sometiems my parents make me stay out of the house. We live in the apartment so most of the time it's ok-ish bc then I'm just standing in the hallway. THere was this one time when I was young though, around 4-6 (ish) when we lived in like, a normal house so I had to stand outside on the streets. That was scary

“don’t scream or ill give you something to scream about” was the most traumatic thing that my mom has ever said to me. i remember one day i was in my room minding my business then my mom came in and started to yell at me for no reason. (i was 9) and i was crying at some point while she was giving me a lecture, and then i told her to get out and then she smacked me right on the thigh. i still have a mark on my leg from where she did that. then the next day as my mom was waking me up in the morning for school, i had realized that she had left that mark on my leg. my eyes were already really red from crying myself to sleep until 4:00 in the morning. ofc she didn’t care at all, and acted like nothing happened. that shouldn’t be something that a damn 9 yo has to go through. and your mom shouldn’t be the one who gave you trama. your mom should be the one who is taking you to school every day, the one that’s saying i love you every night be fore bed. i hope no one relates to this. i’m sorry is this is a lot for just one video but i’m just putting it out there?? i guess.

This is relatable to me.. When I was 9, my “mom” would call me heartless, an asshole, and many other hurtful shit.. and the thing is, my sister would lie about me starting fight. My sister would hit me, kick me, and many more, yet, who got blamed for protecting myself? Me. I got in trouble. When my sister cries, whose name is mentioned first? Mine. One day I decided to tell my sister, “oh that’s why they say your adopted,” and guess what..My sister told our “mother” and our “mom” would say “you’re such an asshole, you’re heartless”.. those were the exact words, I had glasses on so it looked like I was fine, but if I ever took off my glasses I would have literal tears in my eyes. Since I was little my “mom” would tell me “crying is bad,” or, “crying makes you weak.” Yet, she never told me it’s okay to cry and express my feeling in front of family. Till this day I don’t show my feeling to anybody but myself. I will go to the bathroom, sit on the sink, then start crying. It would look like literal waterfalls coming down my eyes. Before I go out the bathroom, I will flush the toilet to make it seem like I was using the bathroom, turn on the sink and wash my hands then put water on my face. Nobody asks me “how was your day?” , “how do you feel?” Or anything like that. Slowly every time I cry, I feel nothing. I got to the point where I can barely cry anymore. My “mother” says that she has had life rough, yet, every time I see her crying, I would ask if she’s alright, and comfort her. But when i used to cry, she would say “suck it up” and not even comfort me. Sometimes I want to tell her something but all she says is “go away I’m busy” or she would ignore me. Now I keep my distance from her. She will ask me “why are you always on your device?” And my response in my head is, “well because people online actually ask how my day was, and listen to me when I vent/rant to them.” I just wanted to tell you this because life is difficult. You are loved by me and many others, stay safe, and feel free to vent/rant to me someday in the comment. No pressure or any begging. God loves you, (Amen) and stay safe.
