As a big lover of owls, I like how unique the owl cutie is. The shiny pants bring a new spin on the furry pj pants idea, and turn them into day/night wear instead. The longer fur coat doubles as a dress I guess. I love the purple, but I would definitely cut off the wings on the sleeves. That of course makes her owl suit less of a bird, but oh well. That dark violet hair is gorgeous though. 🤩😍💜.. The polar bear definitely wins more on the cuteness scale though. I loooove snowflakes as a motif more than actual snow. 😂 Cuz well..COLD and life threatening! And who doesn't think that polar bears are adorable but deadly as well. As far as the doll goes her icy purple streaked hair is cool as well. I like that her fur suit/jacket is the same color (ish) and incorporates the polar bear over in the silver.

I’m so sorry your mum isn’t doing well. My grandma (mum’s side) is 84 and my grandpa (dad’s side) is 83 and they’re both not doing great either. On top of that my mum and my stepdad are both really sick right now. Watching you open up these dolls really cheers me up!

I absolutely love the polar bear doll ❄️ Mattel needs to put the hair in a hairnet so its not as messed up when you take the head off. The owl looks like an off brand chuck e cheese or mickey mouse where they dress someone in the suit to meet kids and dance. Those tights are cool but meh the rest PS evil is kinda odd and cool at the same time. They were going to end it after season 1 when it aired on CBS but then they decided to put it on thier streaming network Paramount+ and they had to write new storyline from there

I collected Barbie as a child in the 90’s and had sooooo many dolls, clothes and play sets. However, now that we have omg and rainbow high with the quality, I feel like Barbie is a dollar store doll that is marked up to $20+ I just can’t buy them for myself or my kids. The cheap quality fabric, printed on faces and generic looking basic shoes is sad for a company that has been around for ages. In my opinion they need to drastically improve their quality. If I had 25-30 dollars to spend on something for my child I would 100% hands down always choose rainbow high, OMG or LOL. Even though omg dolls have printed faces as well, they make up for it in the quality of doll, clothings/shoes and accessories. I feel like they are surviving on the legacy alone. If someone else can explain to me why they love Barbie that isn’t about their legacy I would be super interested in hearing why. I just don’t get it personally. In an economy where money is harder to get and doesn’t go far I’d rather get quality over a name any day.

Love the cutie reveal line, first series were beautiful I got the Bunny she is gorgeous, second series a bit meh the Barbie lama is soooo pale and looks washed up on camera, these so so the owl is ok ish when I looked at promo photos I thought her legs were painted on so glad it's pants, with the long coat (apart from the wings that should've been a separate piece, they can always be clipped off LOL ) with the pants and boats makes it a look so yes they skipped the skirt. The polar bear is adorable like that the outfit has two different prints and when reversed kind of gives me Ariana Grande winter performance vibes! Melissa I am so sorry for all your hardship this year, wish your mum a speedy recovery and lots of health strength and love for you and your loved ones. We need to cherish our aging moms. I made peach freezer jam with my mom today and let her “teach me” how to use the cooker to make pork ribs for dinner. She also “taught me” how to shuck corn properly. It’s doesn’t matter that she taught me this years ago, she can “teach me” anytime she wants. Concerning the cutie reveals, why don’t we have any boy dolls in the costumes? I understand all the affordable dolls with articulation, so why not offer some male dolls in the line? Don’t feel strange about drinking hot drinks, I almost NEVER get ice in my drinks. If it’s too cold it hurts my sinuses. I like water tepid right out of the tap, too. I live in the South so it’s Satans butthole hot here and I will get unsweetened tea no ice when I go to a fast food place. It’s usually still warm.

Do you remember the articulated Barbie dolls they had in the '90s that didn't show the joints so they their knees popped and like bent but they were covered in plastic but they were articulated ,but you didn't actually see the joints they were hidden behind " skin" Barbie skin . I really dislike the joints showing on the Barbies it makes it look so unrealistic and ugly.
