These are the first ever Barbie "Reveal" dolls that I actually want to get. The suits are an excellent idea, and the rooted hair and articulated body are real game changers for me. Though it's a bit disappointing that the prettiest doll (Cat) has the least attractive suit, while the doll with the prettiest suit (Bunny) has the least attractive face mold (to my taste, obviously). Anyway, I'll try to buy them when they're available in my country, though I suspect I'll have to wait for a sale. Thank you for a detailed review!

I like the panda costume and doll, love the lavender hair on the puppy, and the cat costume was pretty cute, like a real cat. Not like my tabby cat though. The bunny was pink, real bunnies aren't pink. It'll be interesting to see them once their hair calms down.

I love the purple puppy & the panda comes in second for me. Every time you post, my 8 year old twin daughter who loves all things doll related yells, “Mama, My World Melissa posted!!” She grabs me by the hand & we lay in bed watching you unveil the newest doll/dolls she’ll undoubtedly be adding to her list. It never fails that she quickly falls asleep & this 42 year old mom of 3 with school lunches to make & a husband I should probably be spending time with ends up watching your entire video & enjoying every minute of it. the "furry suit pajamas for adults that starts with 'k'" are called Kigurumi! They're a form of Japanese street fashion and are meant to be worn outside. :)

@@korofel I'm a cosplayer since 2002 plus I lived in Japan for a long time so I know what I'm talking about and those animal fur suits are a kind of pijamas, then some ppl can wear them on the street but this doesn't make them a street fashion like lolita or goth lolita, decora chan, visual key etc. In Japan kigurumi it's a particular kind of cosplay where cosplayers most of the time, but not always, are males dressed up as female characters and their bodies are fully covered from tip to toes. They wear skin like pantiehose and gloves mimikin the skin and they even have a mask of the character they are dressed up.

Back in the late 90’s they had a sleep barbie that did that. There where 3 different ones and I still have mine they sit on my bed and there also a bigger sleep barbie that I also have and sits on my bed with the other three dolls

The puppy and panda are probably my favorites. I feel like the $25 price point is kind of high though, especially in comparison to Rainbow High or LOL OMG. The molded on undergarments limit dressability in my opinion. Modern Barbies also feel so cheap and gimmicky compared to older Barbies, its kind of depressing for collectors and people who preferred them as traditional fashion dolls rather than gimmick dolls aimed at mainly kids.

A lot of parents complained about the fact Barbie was going commando up until the 90s, which is why Mattel started the molded on underwear. Blame 90s parents.

I love the ginger kitty. The cat suit was super cute and I love her face and hair. The lavender puppy was really cute as well. All together at the end the dolls remind me of Spice Girls cosplay group.

Dolls are cute but not for $26? This looks like a $15 doll. This is one of the better things they've done recently though but Mattel is always lacking in quality compared to MGA. If they brought back My Scene with updated high quality clothing and trendy fashions they would be able to compete with Rainbow High/Bratz

@@magdlynstrouble2036 I don't feel that way :( she comes with a creepy mascot suit and a painted on top. With Barbie extra you get more accessories and fabric. To be honest I change my mind about this being a better thing they've done, this is lower quality than Barbie Extra lol

Now These are so worth it, love them all, I think the concept is very cute I consider them mascots not furies, the face paint is sooo much better than the current clone, it's great to see Mattel bringing back some quality with the face paint specially the eyes! just brings them a bit more to life! hair quality seems to be better and they are finally giving them longer hair, the choppy stiff hair was not working! Clothing seems nicely made (good to see the Barbie label back also) one thing I think they could've done better was the pants should be reversible also, good enough articulation not surprised they didn't include wrist and ankle articulation due to the paws they would end up becoming loose or break, they can be turned into MTM easily! They are on my must have list, sadly in the UK they retail for £32.99 each that's £131.96 on the first wave alone and second wave is apparently already confirmed! Thank you Melissa for your great energy and content!

I’m what you might consider a very occasional doll collector…I have 3 Monster High and 1 Barbie, that’s it! Haha. I’ve been so obsessed with Monster High, Rainbow High, literally everything that’s not Barbie for the past 20 years. This is the first Barbie line in decades that I know for a fact I will go out of my way for them.

Personally am not a fan towards fursuits and stuff like that, but I'm pretty sure that's where most of the price point went especially given inflation. Gonna have to give them credit for making a surprise toy through the idea of fursuits, though, it's pretty clever especially with the reversible jacket.
