My 12 year old and I binge watched it before bed for a few nights while on vacation. It prompted a lot of good conversations. And by good I mean that it prompted some very sincere conversations about feelings and bullying and standing up for friends, not necessarily light fun chats about pool floaties and such. But I promise you that these kids see/hear/deal with very similar topics at school. Yeah, it's meant for adults, but there's not much innocence left for kids by 4th grade. As a parent, you can make pikachu face and say not *MY* sweet precious baby, but all you're doing is leaving them to navigate it on their own. Or you can accept that they're growing up way faster than anyone, including the kids, are comfortable with and try to provide some guidance, perspective, and support. My parents took the first path. That didn't go very well. So I took the second path. So far, so good. Really proud of the human my spawn is developing into.

@@XenBaker404 I went to a con about a month ago and saw (probably) a 9-11 year old dressed as Charlie, unfortunately parents don't watch their kids as much anymore as they used too. A lot of the time parents (mostly now) just give their kids electronics because they're too lazy to actually teach their children, and monitor what they're doing and watching. But I can't answer because that wasn't my kid or anything lol.

I work at an elementary school and you'd be surprised at how much the kids know and love The Amazing Digital Circus. The bright colors and cutesy designs makes it seem like it's for kids when the show is definitely not for them 😭since I'm chronically online I always thought it was an innocent show until I sat down and finally watched it. It's a great show! Just not for kids, lmao.

I watched the Amazing Digital Circus a bit ago so I don’t remember much of it, but I don’t remember it being that bad, in fact I don’t remember any language nor gore and honestly the subject matter (people trapped in a computer and mysteriously “corrupting”) isn’t that bad either. Maybe there’s a new episode that I haven’t seen yet, but from what I remember I’d say the show is a solid OK, and that with discretion I’d be ok with kids watching it. What’s REALLY concerning me is the fact kids are watching Hazbin Hotel/Helluva boss. I’d say the amazing digital circus is pg-13, but Helluva boss is 100% R/MA (I’m not actually sure what the difference is between those ratings) and it’s kinda amazing youtube hasn’t age restricted those videos. If you haven’t seen it, then let’s just say it checks the boxes for basically all sensitive subject matters except (technically) nudity.

If crowding is hard for you I would recommend asking people from green room or other exhibitors about doors and ways around the con that attendees don't have access to. At momo this year, guests had a way to bypass gaming hall that let out really close to where your booth was and I didn't use this door, but exhibitors had an entrance to the dealers hall behind the walk of fame. (We also had an auxiliary greenroom back there where you could have picked up more snacks)

Sometimes when I'm running booths, if I know it's going to be a concrete/hard floor, I bring some foam or some pillows to lay on the floor behind the table. Put a table cloth or rug over it if you want it to look better, but it saves your feet so much! Just a quick tip for the future as I tend to be on my feet for craft fairs the entire 8 to 10 hours.

I was working in a daycare while I was finishing my last year of college and boy do kids know what amazing digital circus is. I had kindergarteners drawing and talking about it. I had to ban it in the daycare. The older kids that would come after school would know it was adult content they were not supposed to what and would try to secretly talk about all the adult media they consumed. However, I would catch them every time and they were SHOCKED I also know about these things.

hi hello! This was my first ever Momocon and I had a really good time! It was super healing for my art block and even though I'm not super into cosplay nor did I do a (very good one) this year I still found your panel on getting into cosplay youtube really informative and entertaining (overalls in the first row, on the off chance you're wondering). I watched all of your Momocon vlogs to prepare myself and it helped ease a lot of my nerves about it, so thank you for helping make my con experience better!! It was an awesome experience overall and I'm already looking forward to trying a real cosplay next year!

I had a good time at momocon and it was really cool to see so many people and meet sarah in person! I will say though, that koi pond area where Sarah was taking frieren pictures in was PACKED at one point on friday and my sisters and I had gone through it because I needed a place to sit DESPERATELY. There was no place to sit and there were a good chunk of people taking advantage of the fact it was an outdoor space and smoking or vaping. Which is fine and fair, their choice, but I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so I had to get out as fast as possible. I was alright in the end because I was wearing a mask, but the getting out of there was.... tricky to say the least. If you watched the cosplay jeopardy video my older sister was the primal kyogre cosplayer in one of the teams, but on friday she was wearing her volcarona cosplay and my little sister was wearing her cosplay that day as well. These were not small cosplays and I was being the handler for both of them, so getting through the crowd at the koi pond was a situation. Never had I been so happy to see an empty chair than at that moment.... until we were flying out of Atlanta but that is another story. This was my first anime convention and my sisters had taken me out to atlanta as a birthday present, it was a magical experience to be around so many people who shared the same interests as me. My one regret is not going to any of the karaokes, but we just didn't have the time or energy from running around the con for so many days.

I stayed at the signia with 5 buddies and for the two rooms we stayed in was over $2000 and not only was parking not included it was also valet only, oh and no food was included at all like. You'd expect breakfast maybe but that like i said was also not included. Outside of the hotel issues i loved con and i wish i had a chance to stop at your booth! To save your feet from the concrete floor, get some foodservice/kitchen floor mats. They are big rubber cushions for you to stand on that make a huge difference! We have to fight over who gets to use them at work.

I had no idea how many people went to these, we went to our first comic con and now if we want to go to anything else, my boys are like are there going to be a lot of people there? lol They didn't enjoy the amount of people and they were kind of freaked out. They're ages 6-10 and I have three and it was so hard trying to keep up with them so we had to make a holding hands train so we didn't lose anyone. But they had a great time at one of the art exhibits and got new books to read so as long as there's no crowds they'll go with me to other stuff lol
