Im not in the fandom but I hope Momoland will still grow. Just like how EXO survive from 12, to 11 to 10 and to 9 then 1 became inactive due to kor china issue and then cameback as 6 then now as solo since some are in military .Momoland is experiencing the same way. But Im still rooting them. The company did dirty but this girls are talented. They can be huge really. The fandom should stay strong for them

모모랜드는 공개 서바이벌을 통하여 검증 과정을 거쳤지만 성적이 좋지 않았다. 그러다 주이의 트로피카나 광고가 톡톡 터지면서 다음 활동곡 "뿜뿜"이 초대박이 터지고, 비주얼 멤버였던 연우와 낸시까지 성공할 수 있게 되었다. 다음 앨범인 BAAM 또한 자가복제 소리는 들었어도 뮤비 조회수가 억단위로 나오면서 성공하였다. 하지만 데이지와 태하가 빠지면서 내는 노래들마다 자가복제의 연속이라 매너리즘에 빠지게 되었고, 하필 주력 멤버였던 연우까지 빠지면서 활동에 적신호가 켜졌다. 결국 주이 혼자 멱살잡고 끌고 가거나 다른 멤버를 키워서 개인활동을 통해 인지도를 유지해야 하는 상황. 앞으로 모모랜드가 지금처럼 그럭저럭 중박은 쳐도 다시 대박이 터지기는 어렵다는 게 중론. 참고로 모든 그룹가수들 중 주력멤버(리더, 예능캐, 메인보컬, 비주얼센터, 래퍼 출신 메인래퍼)가 탈퇴(불가항력은 제외)하고도 살아남은 경우는 제시카 빠진 소녀시대와 박재범 빠진 2PM밖에 없었다.
