Thank you Mo and Mikey! This new system is much easier to wrap my head around. My only feedback is the music. It's hard to pay attention to Mo with it in the background.

Wow! Explanation and video beautiful! Background music a little distracting, but trust me no complaints because the "Master" has spoken!

Always a Challenge mixing audio levels. This was recorded in a pro shop so there was quite a bit of loud noise in the background. It was more difficult to boost the vocal levels as high as I usually try to. Thanks for the support and awesome feedback.

Mo, I think you mentioned you like to use at least a PIN to PSA of 5 inches for no thumb/2-handers. Is there a correlation as rev rate increases then PIN to PSA distance increases to stabilize ball motion? If so, what would be a "benchmark" rev rate of a player for a PIN to PSA of 5 inches verses a PIN to PSA of 6 1/4 inches? I'm sure there are other factors to consider, just trying to get a feel for when you would use 5 vrs 5 1/2 vrs 6 in PIN to PSA distance. Thanks for all you do in helping to bring "positive' ball motion to all forms of players.

I think you meant pin to pap? Pin to psa is static and never changes. It's 6 3/4 I believe.

Mo, when you measure back over to the bowler's grip center, what are you using as a reference point to ensure you're going at 90 degrees to the VAL? Or does that not matter in this method?

@@BowlingScience But I must have missed how/when you established a VAL against which to measure the 90 degrees.

OK, I know what I'm actually trying to ask......since the PAP used here was only 1/8 up in its vertical coordinate, that 1/8 is almost negligible. But what if the PAP's vertical coordinate is more significant, such as 7/8 down? How do you determine the vertical axis line along which to go up 7/8 before going over to mark the grip center?

Something isn't adding up to me. Your PAP is measured from center of the grip, in this case the fingers. You state RF line being a line from center of ring finger to PAP, but the PAP isn't on the RF line in most cases? With a PAP of 5" right, 1.5" down... you have to measure up 1.5" from PAP to get your new center of grip or in this case RF line, no? Once you do that you no longer have the desired distance of pin above RF line.

I believe he misspoke... When you watch the video he measures an 1/8 inch down then draws a line from that point to the 1 3/4 inch line he drew down from the pin... I'm a 2 hander and I just got into laying out my own balls and just use storms VLS...I get what he is doing here to maybe make it more simplified but all the systems work for 2 handers as well...Packy uses dual angle, Chris Via uses VLS

Why is this layout so different from the symmetrical layout ? The sym layout was 2 3/4 pin to pap. The the sym video, mo said he suggests that layout for most two handers. In this one he didn’t specify if this asym layout was generally good for two handers or if this layout was with one customer in mind. As a newbie, not super clear to me over the two videos.

This was one of the layouts that are posted under the POSTS tab on the KZbin page. It is a stronger layout. He did one short pin and one long pin, one symm and one assym to try and show 2 totally different types of layouts.

Thanks Mikey. The layout from the symmetrical video (2 3/4in pin to pap).. is that a suitable layout for a spare ball? Roto grip hustle. I am going to have my pso drill the more aggressive layout on y dv8 verge and prowler probably
