I was thinking Kawaki goes rogue and says he’s going to destroy the ninja world is because he has to deal with NOW going through training and missions and has kinda been thrown back into war as a weapon when he only wanted to get away from Jigen and the karma in the first place. The fact they have subconsciously put him back into harm by playing on his emotions to stay in konoha with Naruto I can see him growing resentment and seeing that the ninja world is just like Jigen in a sense which drives him on his path to take Naruto and destroy the hidden leaf village and the ninja way or world. He did say that age of shinobi is over. We don’t know if the place he took Naruto maybe better; he may even have hima with him as well we just don’t know yet.

I think people like Shikamaru, Sasuke, and the 5 kage will put pressure on Naruto to restrict Kawaki and he may see that as betraying him and Naruto seeing as if it wasn’t for him weakening Isshiki everybody would be dead and this is where Kawaki starts to threaten or just straight up kill people close to Naruto like said while Shikamaru was a hostage he told them both he doesn’t care what happens to him as long as the Hokage is safe. @unstable boruto not exactly he may start off just butting heads with Shikamaru and Naruto but over time I see the pressure from other nations becoming to much for Naruto once they hear how cold he was to kill Boruto and once they find out he can use Isshiki’s Daikokuten and sakuna hikona that was overwhelming Naruto and Sasuke they may want Naruto to exile him and maybe Naruto steps down as kage if that happens Kawaki would be pretty pissed cause Naruto’s whole dream went down the drain along with Kurama and this gives shinobi a bad look for him so he takes Naruto to a different dimension while he trains or fights against other villages, during that time Sasuke finds Boruto and trains him in the meantime while Boruto portal hops looking for them at some point I think Sasuke ends up getting lured by Kawaki wanting to find Boruto and fatally injures him and Boruto finds him and eventually gets his gear from him

I think it has to do with new Otsutsuki coming. In the chapter spoilers Momoshiki while address the "those blue eyes will take everything from you" prophecy said, " you are a brat worth visiting after all". I believe that due to Kaguya being sealed, Momoshiki and Kinshiki defeated, and Isshiki being completely wiped, there will be members of the Otsutsuki that will come to investigate or avenge the deaths of 4 of their members. But this is just my theory.

One of the best things about this story is that opening scene and how the further we go we’re expecting to get closer to an answer to that opening scene. However, it seems we only get further away from that answer. Kawaki is so so devoted to naruto, then how could he do something that naruto didn’t want. Even if it is for the best in kawakis view. So he clearly didn’t kill naruto. Then what DID he do? Where DID he send naruto? I’m sure whatever happens, naruto was against it the whole way. And so kawaki went against his wishes and went ahead with a plan naruto did not agree with.

I think it's the reverse! An otsutsuki six squad shows up and attacks the leaf. Mitsuki, Sarada, Naruto and Sasuke take on the lesser ones (say they are kinshiki level or maybe slightly below/above) Then boruto, kawaki and this new android take on the leading 2 (relevant to isshiki or higher in power each). The battle destroys the leaf. Afterwards kawaki yells at everyone that it's because they are shinobi that the otsutsuki will keep coming to this world, transports naruto away and takes out the rest. Then they go to the start of ep1 I don't think ada or daemon play a part in this since I don't see a reason for them in THIS theory. Not saying this will happen

I think that what Momoshiki meant by “these blue eyes will once take everything away from you” is that his “human” side will one day in the future become too big of a problem for him to handle and that will be the true cause of him losing everything he holds dear. Especially taking the last chapter into consideration i can very clearly see how Boruto will get to become alienated by everyone around him because of his Otsutsuki DNA now. Meanwhile his inner conflict is also about to start, questioning himself into what exactly he is right now (an alien or a shinobi) while the outer circumstances will get to be more and more intense with each passing day (he will represent a threat to everyone around him and he will slowly but surely get to become alienated by everyone thus making his decision to leave the village and convert into a lone wolf for the safety of everyone around him more and more likely).

I feel like the Naruto situation is blown out of proportion. Consider this, because Naruto didn't act they found out about Damian, that's 1. Then Boruto actually didn't die and momoshiki isn't even a threat anymore, that's 2. No one likes Kawaki and if Code does take him, it's only to Naruto's benefit because he's going to tell him everything, that's 3 and 4. To me Naruto's lack of action here, won't even come up to the other Kages. This will be something Naruto carries internally and may make him step down as Hokage, nothing more. Even that's a stretch... even Naruto is still the better Hokage than anyone else.

I wasn't sure if this episode was shown in MANGA too. Hahaha Then will go on Boruto Anime, to be exact in TIME TRAVEL EPSIDODE of SASUKE, BORUTO and URASHIKI. No bias but Naruto did nothing wrong. Shikamaru couldn't have killed Shikadai either. Sasuke couldn't kill Boruto aswell, even though he tried. That why he had that talk with Sarada about doing what needed to be done. Kawaki got the Village invaded but so did Naruto & Hiruzen. Shikamaru might be up to be the next Hokage but he will definitely start a war. Naruto as Hokage has surpassed every Kage there was in a political way. my theory is , in kawaki’s very first introduction to the show, he said “he would send boruto to where he sent lord seventh” , i think later in the time skip kawaki will eventually sacrifice naruto (or naruto would sacrifice himself) and kawaki would be there to do it since he’s only there to protect naruto. that explains why the village was under destruction in his introduction. Yes he stated they are still linked he just can't resurrect in Boruto's body. He was possessing Boruto, and as long as they are intertwined he can. Momoshiki says Boruto is his Anchor to this world. So I'm sure we'll see them have a Jinchuriki type relationship. He will only manifest in dire situations.
