We don't allow our school libraries to maintain explicitly pornographic magazines in any school system in the country that I know of. The question then becomes "what is pornographic content", which isn't always a black and white answer. Then comes "at what age can this grey area of definition be introduced"? The answer to this almost certainly belongs with the person's most responsible for the health and well-being of the children. Now we finally get to "who are those people, the state or the parents?" Why? I’m definitely offended by the fact that they banned Rosa Paeks and MLK, Jr. The books were banned for all children, not just their children. It’s caused a massive problem in Florida and massive retirement from the School System.
