You won't regret it. I came here in 2017 for a class trip around Europe. I've only been to South America when I was quite young, therefore making this the second time I've set foot outside of the United States. Monaco is beautiful and there's so much to see.

To those who are criticizing. Keep in mind that in larger nations they have a larger pool of servicemen to choose from. The guards you see guarding other palaces, tombs of unknown soldiers etc. are the very top elite out of armies of hundreds of thousands of soldiers. You might get one good decent precision drill soldier out of every few thousand. If you have a tiny pool of soldiers to choose from you'd be lucky to get any at all. The United States Marines, for example, consist of a fighting force of about 186,000 yet have only 24 that are good enough at drilling to be members of the silent drill platoon. That's 1 out of 7750 Marines that get to be on that drill team. or in other words 0.0129% of the Marine Corps. In this video you see 12.9% of Monaco's entire military. If only one out of 7750 are good enough to be on an elite drill team. what do you think you are going to get from an army of 116 total military personnel?

Actually that's about 12.9% of their 116 mam fighting force. But you are right that it is unfair to compare them to other elite drill teams. The Old Guard sentinels who guard the U.S. Tomb of the Unknowns is nearly as large a group as Monaco's entire military and train for about a year just drilling back and forth and practicing and training to do the guard changing ceremonies. A tiny army of 116 can't devote all their efforts to choreography like other much larger nations. Monaco has the 2nd smallest military in the world. Too many people here are criticizing the drilling in this video.

What is unoriginal? Grimaldi palace was built in 1191 AD. The Grimaldi's became undisputed rulers of Monaco in 1419. So how is something that old unoriginal? Artificial? Fake?
