Growing up I rode a school bus and we had one driver who would ALWAYS be singing this song to us! She sang many other selections but on this one she would encourage ALL of us kids to sing with her! That memory is tattooed on my heart and soul and this version instantly brought back a huge smile with a few happy tears! She was a remarkable singer! My Mom told her that her boys LOVED her singing and asked if she did it to keep her passengers from going crazy while she drove! She laughed and told Mom that her parents taught her to sing in the car because it would make the trip better! She was right! I still sing in a moving vehicle whether I'm driving or riding! O-hi-yah as they say in these parts. We had a fun bus driver who'd brought a small radio to play that she'd set next to her and face towards us. She'd not let us listen to the hard rock station though, cuz she'd tell us it was a PG bus. The bus was stick with a manual door and she handled it all with ease. When she'd goof shifting -- which was rare -- she'd say the bus bit her. Different era.

I just woke up to this. Spokane. Lol music has always marked my memories. I love all the lives from the Cavern Club and hope you all get out more for live performance even though you most likely will not get to Spokane. To me...I think the Hollies evolved so I heard them growing up, like Bus Stop, very young to the evolution of the 70s, my teen years time. One of my favorites was He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother. Thanks from Whidbey Island Washington. The island was named for Joseph Whidbey, the sailing master for George Vancouver. Whidbey, on June 2, 1792, as a member of a surveying team, discovered Deception Pass, a swift tidal strait separating Whidbey from Fidalgo Island, to the north, proving the body of land was an island. Capt Vancouver was part of a earlier voyage with Capt Cook, who didn't go far into Puget Sound. Thought you'd get a kick out of hearing of these famous English sailors as you are playing in a famous English venue on the other side of the world.

Most of them are from the same performance from back in 2016. We played over 100 gigs at the Cavern Club but made an album out of our very last show we played and video recorded there. Since we just had a re-release of the album on vinyl a couple weeks ago, we decided to upload the remaining videos from that night. Glad you enjoy them 😊
