I love the blocks and the trees in the buckets. If you wanted, you can get short pieces of greenery at Dollar Tree. They come in a package and are the same color as the trees. You wrap them around the bare places on the tree and make them fuller.

I made the season blocks using the $tree wood boxes/drawers....you get a big set and a slightly smaller set. I made them this summer after seeing Kelly Barlow make it...I love it! I used wood letters and stained the boxes..so many different looks depending on the paper you use.

I have just found your diy and really enjoyed it....probably my favorite. I watched the one that you do the triangle shelves and the double-sided truck. Loved it. I have a problem, tho...There are 2 Dollar Tree Stores in our town and neither one has most all the items you and others use. I know there is nothing you or we can do about it.....just venting I guess. Also, I looked all over your site and could find nothing that described what kind of paints you use. Thank you for sharing your talent !! Walmart just got their Christmas things in and there are some really cute things that will fit inside of lanterns - very good prices also.

I like the moss with the tree idea. Last year someone else made a similar tree with two trees per bucket (make one fuller tree); I ended up making them for my front windows. I added a short string of lights from JoAnn's and long tail bows.
