We drove from Tn to Washington and didn't have any problem finding overnight stops. You have to keep your eyes open though because google maps isn't showing all the parks anymore.

Hey!--When U got to TheCastleMansion, overlooking CCBay, if U take a right n go all the way to EnnisJoslin, take a right there n follow it all the way to SPID/South PadreIslandDrive, then take a left at SPID, that'll take U to 'TheIsland.'--(over the JFKCauseway!--Beautiful drive/beaches. Dang corpus hasnt changed much its still the same kinda sucks in 2011 corpus was supposivly getting a huge boom dont bother going threw new mexico brotha its boring as ish you can find the same beautiful scenery driving threw oklahoma and up the panhandle. Driving threw colorodo is mesmorizing i really recommend colorodo
