Scooby sure is unpredictable and likes to bite. I have one named Cookie and he is enough for me to keep up with. Very lovable, can't stand to be away from me and only play bites me no matter how I pick him up stepping up or not. or hold him.

Is a 1 inch bar spacing too big for caique
@ProvidenceMeadow Жыл бұрын
Yes, in our opinion, 1" bar spacing is too wide for caiques. The widest recommended bar spacing for caiques is 3/4". We are aware of parronts that have used 1" bar spaced cages for caiques, but again we do not recommend them. With the wider bar spacing, it is possible for a caique to get their head through and caught in the bars, and that would be bad 😔 I know that this limits the large cage options for caiques as nearly all of the large new cages on the market, and most used large cages are 1" bar spaced (those larger cages were designed for greys, macaws, Amazon's, too's, etc) but it isn't worth the risk. There are 1/2" bar spaced large cage options out there from HQ cages, Natural Inspirations Cages, King's Cages, A&E Cages, etc. I hope that answers your question 😊
