Lol, im only a quilter who tries to sew a few garments and aprons. I do make soap and candles..occasionally, cooking is as big of a hobby to me also…if not more than quilting. Im not real creative unless its food or fabric….hahahaha gardening was my biggest love and i used to grow a big rose garden with over 50 different types….but i cant get hot any more or even be in the sun soooo i just quilt instead. Your berry wreath is going to be a show stopper! Am excited about your cat quilt! I love love your cat quilt, today im deep diving into woven hearts..these first 6 blocks have challenged me..but i think i have it down now. Have a great week Sheri!

I am trying to finish my first ever Vegas Strip project with the new Fabric Cafe 3 yard quilt with curves. There was plenty of fabric (the blocks in the quilt I chose start with 6 inch strips, so not a lot of waste) but I still struggle with making things truly scrappy. 😊 The curved blocks are really pretty easy ... the instruction videos seem to make it fiddlier than it needs to be. If you try these (I even ordered the Sew Yeah acrylic templates for the next quilt) use Fran's method of pinning the ends and the center only - and which side goes on the bottom. They go pretty quickly.

I'm in on the designer Mystery also! I do it every year. Love them. This year will be a very differnt color! Looking forward to it! Did you have very much of your Happy Days left over? Oh my gosh I was on a quilting site to get the Designer Mystery Quilt and I couldn't believe the price of the new Fat Quarters coming out in 2025. I loved several of them but only signed up for Charm squares and Mini Charm Squares. $185 to $350 and a few in the $425 range. I was Gob Smacked.

I’ve done only 3 other designer mysteries. I have to love the fabric and design that they tease with. I definitely didn’t care for 2024. I’m seeing that rise in fabric prices too. Time to start rooting around in our stashes and be smart about buying.

The storm was Sept 27th. There are many videos here on utube about it. Its heart breaking, so many in need! 😢 But there are also heart warming stories and people helping each other and making a difference ❤️‍🩹💦. Im not on fb Sheri but i hope your cat quilt fetches a hefty price especially all those cat lovers out there!! 🐱🐈🐈‍⬛
