Good morning ☕ It's possible your feet from Snow-white will fit your Brother machine. My brother and babylock are interchangeable . That was a big ant!! I would have gone into panic mode, that's one critter that literally gives me nightmares😢 Blues quilt will be gorgeous, can't wait to see what Mary does with it and then to see it bound😊 Have a great day!❤

It actually feels very stable without the feet since it’s in one continuous piece, unlike the the other one which is in two pieces

Well I hope that comes true! The best way is to unsubscribe from daily emails. Give yourself a monthly budget for fabric. Many times the notion to buy something will go away if you give yourself a personal rule of waiting 24 hours. Rarely does a sale item expire quicker than that. Full disclosure: I don’t always follow my own advice 😅

Sheri, Pat is doing the same SAL as the fat quarter shop. She’s spread it over 10 weeks instead of the shorter time frame from FQS. I’m about to cut the first week blocks to catch up for this week. If you like the quarter inch foot from your Jazz 2, try it on your new brother.

I don’t starch my fabrics before sewing, but I do starch each block before I trim the edges. Sometimes not much, if any, trimming is needed, but there are always stray threads.

I just saw a video from Sew Yeah. They are moving ALL their bolts of fabric to new groups. NO more color coded shelves/aisles. NOW they will rearrange their entire store to designer/company. This means that if you want to see ALL the one color you need, you will have to go through the entire store. What a foolish idea. They are probably doing it as a sales pitch. You will now have to walk through the store seeing many Other fabrics, and be tempted to buy some.

I saw that and having mixed feelings about it. Someone else told me, why would you break up collections and sort by color? So I guess there are definitely two different camps on the subject.
