Thank you for this word. Many of the people hearing prophetic words are thinking the same bitter thoughts and hating to hear the words. I had one person tell me to stop sending him the prophetic words. I thank God for prophets who tell us the good news of God!

Yeah however Paul also said it’s a time where people seek to hear only what their itching ears wanna hear, this is the end times that’s what time where in right now we love to preach the goodness of God and should but rarely do you hear the severity of God being taught Paul said that too. The most important thing is this; find out what God is saying and then release it by the same Spirit. It's not really about balancing between Goodness and Severity. But the prophetic reveals the specific Heart of God for specific Times and Seasons. He might be tearing down false religious structures today but healing the brokenhearted the next day. So we just have posture our hearts to know, "what are you saying/doing now Lord?" This was how Jesus operated in His earthly ministry. That way we'll never miss it.

The joyful/ positive messages some prophets share are definitely cool but again, not all prophets are given the same theme "by" the Lord to share? I know in my soul this to be so. Shalom 🕊🙏❤.

Thank you, Apostle Ryan, for this necessary correction to the NT prophets of God for such a time as this. A bitter prophet is an unhealed prophet. Bitter prophets have a bitter root from wounds that have not been healed. The adversary has a place in them which causes offense and a toxic flow that filters through their cruel words and manners that defile many. Or perhaps some have gotten ahead of God's and abandoned the prophetic process. and have fallen from grace and truth. God, Himself can only prepare and release true prophets--- until HE sees that HIS prophet is after HIS own heart and will demonstrate the heart of Jesus before the people Matt 5:11-12 is the prerequisite and the reality of bearing the cross as a NT prophet in Messiah's Ministry The NT prophets must overcome the temptations in the wilderness of the flesh and that includes becoming bitterness as a result of man-pleasing instead of pleasing God. Bitterness will cause the NT prophet the anointing. Grace be to you all. Gal 1:10 1 Cor 13 Amen.

The Whole Word is good. If there is only encouragement and not laying the axe to the root then you are missing parts of the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Burning and Spirit of Judgment, as well as the Fruit of the Spirit, there is just balance, and if you are reading their Words I believe it's a warning from God to the church, blind naked and poor, it would be great for you to have specific words of bitterness for others to discern the depths of what you are saying because not all Prophets are bitter, and have to lay the axe to the root, we cannot be blind if the foot should say to the hand? Schism....... King Jesus we ask for more understanding and fear of you Lord Jesus in your precious Holy name Jesus amen

I agree with what you say totally. The error in the church is that Christians today that exercise the gift of edification found in Corinthians are taking that as a sign that they are Prophets. This is a false teaching and not a gift that is meant to be a definition of ministry. This gift is God himself speaking in our midst. There needs to be more correct teaching in the church to separate edification from what is the prophet. One is for edification the other points the wayward back to God. Every believer has all the gifts as sons just as Jesus did and each is made visible as God responds to the needs of the people. We are not just one gift but have the fullness of God in us. Our ministry is like Jesus which is to make ourselves of no reputation and to go about doing good but we are teaching people they have to become some ministry which is not true. The behaviour and pattern of Jesus in the gospels is what our ministry should look like but instead the church is taught a self interest " we must become a ministry " teaching. Jesus is our pattern for how a Christian life should look, think and behave. He is the first Christian and the gospels show how we are meant to be.

Encouragement is when you hear the Spirit of God telling you "this is the way" and you walk in obedience. It is when your soul is fed the truth and not what the itching ears want to hear. It is when you continuously, by the help of the Holy Spirit, seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and work out your salvation and confidently live a life with Christ being the object of your hope. It has nothing to do with the soulish and earthly desires. The goodness and great love of God is manifested in the fact that while we were sinners Jesus Christ died for us. This is the grace of God! Yes, bitterness is not of God and one has to cry out to God, to repent and walk in meekness and love. However, one should not confuse a strong rebuke to be bitterness.

I think that if we have a gift of prophecy but the ongoing process of daily surrender and correction of our own lives through the Holy Spirit is not happening we tend to replace it with religion driven by human nature which can not withstand the kind of spiritual warfare that is going on and it leads to weariness and fear. What seems to happen is that discouraged, disgruntled prophets begin to key in on the works of the second heaven (plans of Satan) and are reporting that but not the overcoming victory in the power and plan of the Lord Jesus Christ. We need to pray for discouraged prophets.

Prophecy is not always encouraging. Prophets in the Bible were hated for what they spoke and so I just think we have to have discernment when someone claims to have a Word but to say all prophets are speaking ill if it isn’t positive is not Biblical.....
