So glad that you did the show on the Madhouse ! Your commentary was dead on, the fans electric energy it's almost indescribable ! I have been to tracks all over the southeast from Daytona to Richmond and South Boston and have never seen the energy from the fans anywhere then what comes from 15 to 17 thousand ppl in the stands at Bowman Gray on a Saturday night during the summer and he is also the longest- weekly running NASCAR sanctioned track in history ! Can remember going to races they're as young as five years old so this summer makes 52 years saw a lot of changes but not so much from the passion and energy from the fans it's completely electrifying

I appreciate you watching and commenting. I was thoroughly impressed by what I experienced and I think any race fan should do the same. Keep on enjoying!

So glad there's finally a good video on the Stadium As someone who's family is deeply rooted in the stadium and it's history, and as someone who works there it's nice to have a video to send to friends to show the what it's like

It gets a bad wrap but I've been to plenty of short tracks that have fights. Have big wrecks. Have follow the leader one lane racing. What they don't have is the history, fanbase, setting, and such dedicated racers.

Awesome video. I would add that at Bowman Gray, the fans can so something you can't do at most other tracks and that is enter the pits before and after the racing action. You can see the cars up close, meet the drivers, and even get free hero cards or buy shirts. It's a place like no other and we love racing there!

Thanks for watching. That's a great point! I think the main reason I didn't point that out is due to being accustomed to being in the pits. Drag racing, nearly every pit is open. I wish more tracks had an open policy, at least after the races. Certainly helps the racers, teams, and fans connect.

Something you left out on here are the special event nights, the chain race being a favorite, take two cars chained together, first one has the engine but no brakes, the rear car no engine but has brakes, makes for some great laughs and good racing. They also do skid races, take a FWD car and take the back tires off, 4 banger racing, and demo derby races, all of them are great.

Yes, they are not mentioned. Though they're great, they're not weekly features to the card hence their absence.

@@MondayMorningRacer Yeah, I am really glad you brought this place back up! I always heard about it over the years and always wanted to go if I was in the area... BUT, there's a LOT of amazing tracks out there (of all types) and it's hard to remember them all. So again for doing a piece like this, I look forward to seeing more of them in regards to dirt racing, drag racing, the whole gamut!! :-) I really hope you keep expanding on this segment, brilliant brilliant idea! We definitely more of this type of content, especially for drag racing! 😎🤘🏻

@@MDCSRacing cool deal. Feel free to drop a link. I think the settings will allow it.
Once we can cross the boarder I'm heading there. Want to race my mustang in stadium stock.

I assume you're in Canada then. I hope you can get it in this year but 2022 will probably produce your opportunity to race in stadium stock.

There’s a hot dog joint called Kermits Hot dog house about 2 minutes from the track, great hot dogs and you’ll see plenty of race fans there before the show starts

I hope this video gets a lot more comments like the one you've posted. No way to get it all in on one day but there's certainly more to experience than what I even mentioned. It will give people to craft their own day. Randy Pettitt, the track announcer, informed me of it but I stayed over for Sunday. I'll have to get it next time.

I think Wake County speedway might have bowman gray beat.. Just my opinion though

Haven't had the pleasure of attending a race at Wake. I've seen videos, especially the production from BAM Racing, and it does appear to be a great place to experience motorsport action.
