Bought a second hand 2019 limited edition a couple of months ago and can say it’s hands down the best bike I’ve ever ridden. Lovely to ride and plenty fast for a 125, definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish first bike

Iv had one since 2018 and its just awesome 👌 looks stunning with a few little bits done to it and is fast enough for me, iv had 84mph on a loooong flat rd so for a 125 its nippy, its power band is high in the revs so unless you ride a bit assertively/like ya stole it, you dont get its full performance. Constantly up an down the gears 6 gears but it does it brilliantly. 3rd tops out at 52mph, 4th 65mph 5th 72mph 6th 80 ish depending on hill/wind im about 12st so itll get a wriggle on if you tickle it the right way. Only things iv changed are cosmetic mirrors, got rid of mudguard stickin out of the seat, front an rear cowling... ooh looks gooooood 😍

I’m pretty much sold on this. I saw HPS Ubbiali the blue one which looks dead sexy. I’ve yet to see one in the flesh and decide from there. Just on looks, this one trumps the others, I was looking at the Mutt, AJS, Bullit and WP. For the money it looks off the scale. The only thing that looks like a phone on the bars which I know is an awesome display, I’d prefer an analogue dial but I’m an old fart and like to say to the coppers my eyes aren’t that grand at my old age now and if that display panel was on a selfie stick it would be fine, I could read that then , I can’t even read my phone and have to put it beyond arms length to see who’s calling me ffs! 😉 Ah well, it is the bike, I like it and I’ll live with it. For where I’ll use it I can’t go more than 20 mph in the streets now, possibly hit 50 max. I don’t have any dealers here in London, so I’ll just have to buy one blind from Motogb and have it delivered. 👍 Great vid, really got to see it properly and your option on it has sold it to me 👍

I get what your saying I like the old school look too. but this screen is really good. Its difficult not to like it.
@Mark-he3tl Жыл бұрын
Just seen this vid. I bought one of these last year and love it. The screen actually has two display modes. The modern looking one shown in this vid. But you can change the display to look more classic with a round rev counter and stuff about it.
@o00scorpion00o Жыл бұрын
That's the way it's going, a lot of cars now have endless amount of menus to control the every increasing amounts of tech, bikes are the same but I'd rather pay less for simplicity, maybe all I need is ABS and traction and that's it ? Give me analogue dials any day, I think that the screen ruins the look of the bike, it takes from the look of it. I've no problem with a small LCD screen to show trip computer etc but TFT for everything I'm just not into.

@@GillyBikes Look at the Honds ADV, same thing, cheap grey plastic, no chrome dials just dull dour plastic dash, that can't be the future can it ? I'd rather the Forza just for the nicer looking dash. I think they are offering more tech than a lot of people want or need, no need, in my opinion of course for all this tech and tonnes of menus. Why can't they just build cheaper bikes, simple, without tech and especially without screens, I'm not anti tech but it's just taken over our lives completely and I haven't got a bike yet, just passed my theory so got a bit to go before I get on the road however, I just want to get out in the open, into nature, enjoy the ride, I don't need the tech, the screens or the extra cost, I want simplicity and reliability. What's going to happen in 20+ years when electrics, screens start to fail ? imagine the cost ? that's even if you can get the parts and that's assuming they even last 20 years or even make it to vintage.

I prefer the Pagani model (original blue/silver, not the 2023 design) but there is very little out there to sing it's praises and a few reliablity issues with them? I don't understand the brake discs though, form over function? Not sold on that display, looks stuck on as an afterthought, but better than the cheap looking original one. Still cheaper than the big Japanese brands, but their offerings are aimed at younger riders, whereas this retro look appeals to us older people starting out on bikes 😅 They look great, their promo teams need to get more bikes offered out to vloggers to gain more interest and confidence in the brand. Good video though, funny and factual 😎

Since 2018 mine hasn't had much in the way of maintenance needs, few punctures, it needed a new rectifier.. other than that she's been perfect and I ride all year round in all weather with stock cst tyres on an it all works great. Iv heard people say the tyres are terrible but I think they're fine. Mine doesn't have the silly disc brakes tho, or the flat screen display, it has a digital dial. Definitely a brilliant bike, I'll never sell mine no matter what else comes an goes.

incredible how this bike was born in Italy but with very little thought towards Italy. In Italy motorcycles with 125cc engines are penalized due to traffic restrictions, in practice they can only be driven in the city because they are not allowed to be used on highways (and perhaps for some reason it exists) but not even on extra-urban roads where, on the other hand, the maximum speed is perfectly within the power of these bikes and where 150cc scooters can however circulate and they are much more dangerous for your own safety and that of other vehicles. Well ... the sad reality I think is in the old Italian mentality. The big brands are pushing themselves, ultra-performance excellence is being pushed, but Italian legislators really care very little about motorcyclists. Yet our grandparents moved exclusively with moto...guzzi 250...ducati scrambler even 125cc...Cagiva SST125...oops...I forgot the legendary Laverda 125...beautiful and with a Zundapp engine! Motorcycles that made their fame precisely for their style. Now (2023) with these beautiful bikes, in Italy, you can only go to buy newspapers or go shopping... 😪😪
@GillyBikes Жыл бұрын
That is such a shame. Over here in the uk you can take them on Motorways and I think you would get to 70mph quite easily.
@giannisossai7312 Жыл бұрын
yes I know. that's why I don't understand the Italian road regulations. Foreign regulations have a correct logic but here in Italy they are difficult to understand. however, many Italian motorcyclists admire this brand but cannot ride it. this is sad. in any case, the bike is a world that those who make the regulations will never be able to understand. even if you have a 50cc motorcycle, pushing your foot from second gear to third gear is a sensation that only a motorcyclist understands without being able to explain. It's a gamble... it's just the beginning, but it's freedom. thanks for your videos. 🌻
