You can setup a schedule based on time and location. So you could do something like at 7:00AM in the morning execute {Load Pebble Task} and one at night too.

Armando, a thought for an upcoming Tasker Tuesday. I love Yahoo! Weather Clock Widget but unfortunately the clock doesn't update the time unless you click on the little refresh button at the top right. Kind of a pain to look at your screen and not know if it's the correct time or not. I'd like to have the widget refresh the time when my display is on. This doesn't sound hard but I have not been able to figure out how to do it. A lesson on how you step thru your process would be great!

thanks, using this as a primer i now can set the lighting themes with my Phillips Hue - "Lights Sunset" sets sunset theme, etc... "Lights off" turns them off.

In tasker create a profile, choose state >> plugin >> secure settings >> edit >> google now shortcut >> back button or save icon >> yes >> choose task for autovoice recognized. You have to have pro version of secure settings.

Hello Armando, Thank you for the fantastic videos. This one really interests me and I purchased autovoice on my S3 and went through your instructions to make a "Load KZbin" task. The only issue I'm having is how to get the double tap on my home button to default with Autovoice. Currently it does nothing as I have SVoice disabled. Can you help with this or point to your previous instructions if I missed that. Thanks

I fixed it! I have an S3, and after trying the input tap for several different things, I came up with an idea. I added another input tap, directly under the first input tap. I thought that maybe it tried to tap, before being allowed by superuser, so nothing would happen. After doing a new line of input tap, it worked for me.

INPUT TAP SOLUTION: for me it was my keyboard making the "i" to capital "I" so make sure to input the commands as "i"nput tap and get ready for some fun. Dear Armando Ferreira, please mention this little info as it created so much problems for me and many others. thanks

Yes, see my Intermediate Guide (link in description). Also, you can say up to 25 commands at the same time in one shot. i.e. "Load KZbin, Dim Screen 50%, Turn Bluetooth Off, Turn ON Popcorn Machine, Text Message Wife "I'm Home" and Turn ON computer". It will execute all those things in one shot.

Armando thanks for de video, great stuff! Especially the input tab was an eye opener for me. One question: Do you know if it's possible to use input tap while screen is locked? I've tried it, but the tabs are on hold and only being performed after I unlock my phone (nexus 4). I want to use this for a sync task when I close a certain app. But I don't want to wait until the task is finished before I lock my screen.

Kick ass, dude! Question... Does the 'Input Tap' command depend on the phone being in portrait orientation? What happens if it's in landscape mode? Does Tasker somehow 'assume' that everything happens in portrait mode? If not, how do we add the variable, 'if in portrait mode, use THIS coordinate, if in landscape, use THAT coordinate'?

Try uninstalling Autovoice and reinstalling it. You probably forgot but chose Google Now when this first happened and didn't realize it.

@ Armando One problem I ran into was that the kill command was not actually closing my app after the task was complete. So I fixed this by adding 2 actions to the end of the task. The action I added was "input" "button" and selecting back in the drop down menu. I just added this twice and it now closes out the application. Hope this might help someone else who is running into the same issue. And Yes I have root access on my phone.

Armando, I have the oppo find 5 and running the latest aokp ROM by maxwen. I'm having trouble setting autovoice as the default voice search. Holding down the home key only allows me to pick from Google search and voice search as the default. There isn't an option to select autovoice like you show in your video.

I love your tasker tutorials! I am just having one issue with continuous auto voice, when my phone is plugged into my aux for music while driving, my media volume is force set to zero. Armando, I used this tutorial to help me with an app to start my truck and when I hit the "play" button in the task section it works and my truck starts but when I try to use AutoVoice as a swipe up gesture in Nova my truck won't start. Hey man, Is there a method(function) or a variable that would tell me what is the max value for the X and Y axis as I don't want to write the script values for every device as I take the backup of my data and restore in different android devices like tab n samsung cam. I was thinking of just subtracting the dp values from the max value and it work for different dpi devices. Please let me know if there is something for that.
