tornadoes like this that aren't fully condensed have always been really creepy to me. you can clearly see all of the vortices dancing around each other, and oftentimes other motorists will be completely clueless driving straight into it because all they see are horizontal rain curtains. ive seen a lot of that with these recent outbreaks

I'm in Republic.. too close. Just missed the area where a relative lives in Clever, but they lost power. Another relative that has a friend that lives on the outskirts of Aurora said that their house was fine, but it destroyed the 1 3 doors down from them. Crazy 🌪 season so far.

Not an expert. Never been near or in a tornado but if I was chasing, I would definitely have a partner telling us where we are in relation to tornado's and bear cage etc. and watching (if that's possible) rain wrap. That's how Tim died, got caught in rain wrap not seeing the tornado, if I am correct in my understanding. Bless his Soul. What a legend.

@@joeb5603 this is exactly why there are usually teams. One person focuses on directions/GPS and looking at radar as it updates, one person focuses on driving and listening to the directions, the other person/people focus on getting footage. It's so much safer when you're not doing 3-4 people's job.

Top tier video! These vorteces were so eerie, dancing there. Awesome. Thank you for being there and capturing this beautiful creature. I was waiting for footage since there is often "tornado day" lately. Not seeing a lot of fine videos from yesterday, tho... or maybe it's never enough for me ;) I will subscribe and watch your other videos/wait for another one. Keep it up! Love from Poland! When you said, that person is inside of it, were you talking about the white car? That was me. I pulled over to clean out my trousers when you went pass. When I crested the bridge it was then I knew I fucked up. I couldn't see what you were seeing til it was too late. The trees were blocking my vantage point. I thought it was just circulation with no ground contact like it had done for 40 miles

Wow! Those ones with the larger rotating bases that spin off multiple tornadoes blow my mind. This one was especially eerie, as they were undefined, so at times it was the debris that gave it away. I see you're out there with other chasers, so I hope you have radar or whatever else to keep each other informed. Nothing like getting trapped in a rain wrapped.... Good work and Godspeed! 💚✊

I've heard tornadoes that have sounded like waterfalls, like someone using the vacuum one stall over from me at the car wash, like a choo-choo, all the way to a few that sounded more like a low-flying military jet in a pounding holding pattern right over my head. My position was completely opposite of the tornadoes motion at all times. Additionally, I had the occlusion clearly overhead. I was constantly monitoring the storms position and motion. I will not say this approach was without risk, but it was acceptably safe and comfortable given my decade of experience. El Reno, has been in my mind on every single storm since. This was a very different approach angle than what was used by those who were impacted at El Reno. El Reno is the reason I did not proceed blindly through the RFD driven hail after losing contact with the tornado at the end of the video.
