It is eye-opening for me to hear you confess that you struggle with the same fears, struggles about self-worth as me, yet you both have built multi million businesses. A lightbulb went on in my head, as i realized i'm normal AND that i do not need to fix all that before i start. Just start.

This pod is dope, thank you so much boys. I’m 59, partially disabled, have so much chronic pains, TOS (thoracic outlet syndrome), fibromyalgia, neck surgeries, shoulder injury, debilitating lower back pains and depressed, and my income is NOT sufficient from retirement. I love animals, especially dogs, so recently, I have started walking dogs for our neighbors. It is sporadic, but it is an income. I wrote this to me, had a shirt printed, “If You Can Dream It, You CAN Do It.” And, literally anyone can. Believe in yourself and failing is ok.

PARENTING IS MY PASSION ❤ I'm enjoying this podcast so much especially now that you are both talking about Parenting. Because of my journey with my family and 2 sons now in their 30s I have been helping other parents for over 25 years to navigate their Parenting. My youngest son was diagnosed with ADHD ODD and childhood depression and like you have both talked about in business I had to really stretch myself around my Parenting and relationships. I actually so agree with the definition of success being when your adult children want to hang out because they enjoy your company. My youngest son called me on weekend just passed and asked if I wanted to hang out...we had the best day, breakfast, great conversation, movie...just loved it. Not too many 30 plus sons want to hang out with their 60plus Mum. I truly feel that our relationships with our children are the most important thing. It's a forever relationship. So great to hear 2 men, not yet Dads speaking so passionately about Parenting.

I also have to say, I enjoy listening to your podcast, and It just hit me why a lot of inspirational people, borderline yell, or have their voice raised to level that for someone who has been through trauma, can trigger a trauma response you’ve been, though they’re not yelling, but more so passionate it can still do the same thing I don’t get that feeling when I listen to you You are excited and passionate but in a way that keeps your voice calm and that is so helpful to soak in the information and because you do it I feel your guest do the same thing. Thank you for that.

Best parenting advice: give your child zero screens until age 4. I mean don’t even let them catch a glimpse of a tv in a restaurant. At age 4, teach them to read with some phonics based program such as “children learning reading. “ keep them stocked with fresh / new library books for those moments they are bored with playing - at that point, they can read. When you slowly begin to introduce screen time, always keep it as a reward for something, whether a reward for learning something, or practicing piano, or reading a chapter book, etc. it will be a POWERFUL motivator and you will be able to develop a hard-working, educated child.

Got to be careful when we look at it that way. He had experience in software. He had that unfair advantage. We need to see where each entrepreneur's background was before they started it.

It was not in 48hrs. These things take time, incremental improvements, scaling, etc.. you're not going to make $80m in 48 hrs.. claims like these are called marketing. The easier they make it sound, the more takers there'll be. Pure psychology.
