In this episode: financial freedom, starting your own business, you can't sprint forever, buying vs renting, and investing.
This week we are rejoined by host of Financial Feminist podcast and creator of Her First 100K, Tori Dunlap, to fill us in on her journey with FI over the last few years, discuss what financial equity and the importance of building financial foundation and literacy among marginalized groups, as well as discuss how financial advice can differ for men and women. While money can be linked with stability and ease in one's life, the real power that comes from personal finance and independence is the freedom it allows you to not only change your life, but instill change in the communities around you. Although there can be times you feel guilt or shame when discussing financial literacy, there are endless resources at your disposal to educate and have you feeling confident.

Personal finance is only 20% individual and 80% society issues out of the persons control? That is not the message I would ever share with my daughters wow

This show was fantastic! It was a great highlight to the different social conditioning that men and women experience from early childhood to adulthood. I hope we get more content like this that explores more behavioral and societal money influences.

The audience of this podcast would overwhelmingly attribute 95% of our personal finance results to personal choice. The whole point of this community is to show each other that success is attainable and repeatable when we stop shooting ourselves in the foot. Be warned, the guest has some pretty counterproductive political views. While that's fine in itself, I wouldn't recommend the episode to anyone I want to empower.

like if you like wanna like hear like a like show like tell you like how like money is like different like for like women and like men like , this is like the show for you ...right...right...right...right...right... (spoiler alert - money doesnt know your gender or race or politics , so just live on less than you make and invest the difference and youll reach F.I. ...no matter whats between your legs , color of your legs , and if those legs bow to pray to whoever) ...... if people would quit acting like your race , gender , and religion mattered so much , it wouldnt matter .... nobody cares until you constantly bring it up ... just be a good human i made it 40 minutes in and give up .....BRUTAL

Unsubscribing. Brad, the LAST thing that I associate with FI is victimhood and identity politics! Wow, so disappointed….

Awful show. Little girls shouldn’t play with baby dolls apparently. Just unsubscribed. Good job alienating half of your audience.
