My ritualist friend told me something today that made me think very very hard about this life we are living. I asked him why do u do rituals? He said to me: it's not how long u live but the quality of your life while ur alive. He said wats the use of living a long life and poor suffering for even 40 years hungry crying everyday. It's not true that they commenced after Christ's resurrection. Again, a believer who knows who he/she is in Christ will not pray to a God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or even Elijah. That is not how believers in Christ pray, those who are born again. They pray to Abba. They know that God is their Father, they are His children. So yes, anyone can call on the name of god/ God to do their evil, does that mean God answers such? Which God? Or which god? Not Abba. A believer in Christ who knows the Word will know the character of God... i. e. what He can do and what He cannot...Let's not be fooled.
