Love this! We have a neighbor who has tons of of apple trees and a few along the fence by the road that fed the horses when there were some. They don’t treat the apples and ignore the trees by the road. They told us we could have them and I got 35 gallons of apples to process this year!

I love taking my kids to the library when the weather is not good enough to go to the park. My little ones play in the play center, and my older daughter plays on the computer. It's a great way to get out of the house, play with different toys and game, and sometimes there are other kids to play with. Plus we bring home books, videos, and even borrow games and puzzles. They love it.💖

I love Winco n it’s 160 miles away, but only about 5 miles from my daughter n son in law. Needless to say, when I go visit them, there is always a trip to Winco. Just fyi, their bulk spices, grains, fruits, etc., r loss leaders for them, but they do bring the people in n they invariably buy other merchandise. I do always notice their meats look good n r reasonably priced. My daughter does 95% of her shopping there. Across the street from Winco is an Aldi, another amazing place to shop, but w limited selections. I choose not to live in the city so I do take advantage of the grocery shopping when I am there. Good tips! So true, staying home is a great way to save. One of my favorite easy money savers is adding in meatless meals throughout the week. Things like beans and legumes are cheap and a good source of protein. It’s also good for the environment and heart health.
