We used an Anologman Beano Treble Boost pedal and a 1964 Vox AC30. Usually we spend about 30-45 minutes dialing in the tone and microphone settings. This one went pretty quick and was a lot of fun!

Did you by chance tune and then deliberately de-tune "John's guitar" as per Jack Douglas' great anecdote from the Double Fantasy sessions - about John saying he always de-tunes one string so his "Aunt Mimi could tell which guitar was his" on the radio. I've been haunted by that anecdote ever since - listening to John's tuning on all their history. Sort of sounds like it a bit at 0:24.

Are you guys gonna do In My Life at some point? Very interested in hearing the guitar parts clearly on that one. This all sounds great! Only thing is I’d say the drums need to be hit a bit harder than that for this song - Ringo was by no means a light drummer, and lightly striking the tom isn’t going to deliver the same energy as you can hear on the recording :)
