George’s understanding of the fretboard was outstanding. Ime pretty sure he didn’t even learn theory. He just so advanced. Especially for his age at the time. Insane.

What a great solo and this was practically their first album. George really nailed this one and to have come up with that chord at 1:21!!!!!!!!! George was never into those long, wailing solos à la Clapton, but for coming up with short solos for 3 minute songs, he's my ultimate! A lot of those songs that were labeled ''Lennon-McCartney'' would have lost a lot of their luster without George's contributions.He was perfect for this band. You just couldn't have found anyone who could have fit in better

It's so easy to forget that this song wasn't written by any of the Beatles. It was written by Meredith Willson for the musical "Music Man' way back in the late 1950's. Paul heard it, liked it, and did his own arrangement to the song. If you listen to Shirley Jones' version (it can be found on KZbin) and then Paul's arrangement, it's not hard to decide which one is better. Thank you, Paul.

This was the song that impressed George Martin to sign them into EMI after being rejected by Decca. The rest is history!!! Love them Beatles! George Harrison got George Martin’s attention on this demo cover. They were so versatile and innovative specially George at just mere 18 yrs old. Love this song!!!

Someone down below noted the "orgasmic" feeling of a new Ably House notification - I will not disagree. Incredible rendition, boys! It seems insane to me that the Beatles would try such a complicated song *live*! What were they, crazy? Crazy good, I guess. There's a reason that most rock songs only have three or four chords: So the bands can play them live! It's hard enough to play and sing without having to remember a gazillion chords to every song. But this one....sheesh! Oh, and about the new credit screen? Is Andrew trying to *not* look so much like Beck now?
