also.. you won't see it very often... but when Tony plays a game of singles and actually shoots from the back instead of passing.... he is pretty freaking awesome

like the video. great match. but I don't need a replay on every point. it's redundant

I like your videos, especially the instant replay, how did you add that into the video? Is there a special software u use for post processing?
@206foosball7 жыл бұрын
I used iMovie. It is pretty basic and takes some getting used to. There are two options: you can either select a clip and choose "instant replay" or you can simply make a segment play in "slo-mo".

When will they be back in Oregon? Missed this one. What website is the best to check tournament dates?
@206foosball7 жыл бұрын
They were in Oregon for the previous MoneyBall this last February. Not sure when they will be back, hopefully during the next MoneyBall which will likely be held in February 2018. The best website to check for national tournament dates is ifptour.com/.

I cant imagine there is enough money in it for these guys to travel all over the country playing foosball!!! What am I missing?
@Klos1neMN8 жыл бұрын
+Curt Davis You're not missing anything, these guys have jobs and travel in their spare time and neither Tony nor Rob play in all of the tournaments that are held nationwide. Tony is a roofer or at least he was; I'm sure he was back to work on Tuesday.

Tony could make enough money to just play foosball, but he wouldn't live too lavishly... Im sure he could survive though and pull in 30-60k yearly... thats a guess.. But to make that kind of money you'd have to win 3/4 of all events you enter.. (like Tony does...)

Are snakeshots legal?
@206foosball8 жыл бұрын
Yes, snake shots are legal. The rule from International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF) reads, "Spinning of the rods is illegal. Spinning is defined as the rotation of any soccer figure more than 360 degrees before or more than 360° after striking the ball. In calculating the 360° you do not add the degrees spun prior to striking the ball to the degrees spun after striking the ball." When a snake shot is executed the rod rotates less than 360° prior to striking the ball. As long as you "catch" it in time, prior to it rotating 360° after striking the ball, it is legal. However, open events on the Warrior table/tour do not allow snake shots. There may be other instances of individual tables and/or tours not allowing the snake shot but for all intent and purposes yes, it is a legal shot.

Tony does this stupid snakeshot every single time, it's just not worth watching.

Is that all you see? You don't see the strategy in the rest of his game? Also are you not learning anything from how he is reading his opponents defense while shooting? You don't know shit about this game if you did you wouldn't have such an ignorant comment
