This Obsession about Bombay Scottish should stop. I would rent an apartment at a lower rate in Mahim / Matunga and prefer Don Bosco, Matunga school over Scottish, end of the day, they're either going to Ruia/Ruparel or some college in South Mumbai. If not just move to Vile Parle, you'll have more options like Utpal Shangvi, Maneckji Cooper, Chhatrabhuj Narsee. I could clearly see the stupidity/ obsession with Prabhadevi. Side note- I remember paper ads of RNA Exotica (Goregaon), I'm sure he'd have put his kids there in St Johns or Gokuldham/Yashodham.

You dont seem to know Mumbai or areas towards South Mumbai. This rent for a fully furnished house is way too low for a 3 bhk in a location like Prabhadevi. And a spacious flat with good carpet area is an absolute luxury in Mumbai esp towards South Mumbai or even towards North Mumbai.

@@aosaeanor I'm very well aware as I am born and brought up in Mumbai. And I still maintain that the rents are exorbitant.. considering this is the lower end of the spectrum.. it's still unjustified..zero value for money. High time the city experiences a proper correction in real estate prices. You'll get million dollar homes with your private lagoon in LA for the price of an apartment in SoBo which is poorly connected and overcrowded to the point of exhaustion.

People paying high rent don't care about the money all they care is location and how far it's from their work location, they earn more than lakh a month, so stop complaining about rent prices, renting home is for the people who have money which they don't want to spend on home EMIs instead they prefer paying same amount of rent for fully furnished home.

Rent way too low for a furnished 3 BHK in Pravbhadevi. That area is towards South Mumbai & rents are upwards of 3 lakhs pm for such a flat . South Mumbai is where most of the the wealthy & influential people live. And that's where the best infra development happens in the shortest possible time. It has some of the best roads, well planned flyovers , undersea tunnel & so much more . Water logging is rare. Towards North Mumbai & Navi Mumbai n beyond rents are low. That's where mostly the working class live . Those are the areas where connectivity to the rest of Mumbai is underdeveloped & overall urban planning is lacking. Roads are bad, traffic congestion n water logging is common, high rise buildings are coming up in clusters & quite randomly often next to narrow roads , Metro work ongoing at snail's pace & its partially constructed pillars are in the middle of main roads .
