Investing in Japan can be a good option for those prepared to invest larger amounts. Mutual funds are good products. Like shares they have to be held for long time to get a good appreciation. I hold mutual funds since a long time. Please note that purchasing of shares is not suitable for majority. It requires enormous understanding of business, financial analysis and right time of purchase at right price. Not for all. Mutual fund route is much easy and there is more possibility of capital preservation. This is my experience

Sir, can you please clarify your rationale of Japanese yen vs USD? My understanding is that JPY is trading at 150 and will appreciate over time. In that case, ahen it gets to 120 or so, won't it affect Japanese global companies and reduce export profit?
