Not necessarily.! You can start without one! Once you’re getting a consistent amount of orders you may want to consider an LLC to protect your assets and to keep your business separate from yourself! This is what I did after a few months in a successful shop. Always consult a professional though! I have a CPA who helps me with decisions like this :)

I create my designs in a software either Kittl or Canva and as long as they’re saved as a transparent png or jpeg you should have no issues uploading to placeit !

Hi Mak, I’ve heard you have to pay Printify for your products when you make a sale and it can take some time to get paid from the platform you’re using. Did you use a credit card to pay for your products?

Yes this is true! You can either set your payments to come out faster on Etsy and wait a bit or you can front the money first using a credit card! That is what I have done for years and find to be better. I use a specific credit card for my stores so I don’t mix up finances and am able to keep track of my monthly profits

Hi! I have had an Esty shop for 10 months. 1,079 sales. I use Printify exclusively. I want to start a Shopify. How challenging would it be to shift some/all of my listings onto shopify. Basically, I want to lift my Etsy shop, and drop it in a new Shopify store.

You can sync them using the csv but some integration may get a bit messed up! You could also recreate the listings onto a Shopify store which you can have on your same Printify account just add the new store !
