No, It is not it completely confuses New guys who are joining DB sphere... First this idiot needs to explain what is the meaning of SQL - Structure query language then break down non-SQL db like no-SQL... I think he needs to learn how to break down information first.

I've not seen any case studies of mongo used at scale. In fact I know companies that have tried it and gone back to RDBMS because it cannot handle scale. I'm talking systems that need to ingest 10M+ rows *a day*.

Thanks for the video. It's helpful to me as a noobie to NOSQL. Question: Say that when I first entered documents into my collection I used "first_name'. But some time later I starter using "First_Name" instead. And even later I changed it again to "FirstName". How do I find all of these? And how do I fix them? Thanks!

You are quite incorrect about SQL being structured, and NoSQL being unstructured. I used SQL on unstructured data a lot, processing schemaless databases in sizes of terabytes. And I used "NoSQL" stuff, that was structured, and had schemas, and there was no way to them extend dynamically. The name SQL (Structured Query Language), is from SEQUEL (Structured English Query Language). It is not about the structure of DATA you are querying. The QUERY is STRUCTURED, it uses English, but not human English, but Machine (structured) english. Mongodb has structured query language too. It is SQL-like, just implemented differently (in some respects better, in some others worse than SQL). It provides the same functionality tho. You can use SQL with MongoDB too in fact.

You should work on a video with the actual scripts with fields to insert the typed in data to mongo and also how to extract mongodb data via web instead of a terminal.Fire video by the way !! being using the structured method for YEARS (MySQL) so considering trying MongoDB for a project idea that this should fit perfectly with.
