If a woman or a man knows their lover is married or in a relationship AND they agree to an affair, they're equally if not more at fault. Now, hold on, both are guilty but in this case, she had the power to say "no" to that affair, she had the power to not allow that affair to take place but she didn't. He could have wanted an affair so bad but takes 2 to tango and she accepted to dance. Same goes for men when a woman is married. The cheater is already failing their marriage, their vows by wanting an affair but you allowing them to go through with it? Makes you the same if not worse.

Why didn't she put anyone checking on Bill when he was already viewed by many people as a known cheater? Why did she defend him even after it became clear that Bill and Monica had a thing? Why didn't she file for divorce? Perhaps ...... it was due to the fact that she had political ambitions of her own? despite the fact that many years have passed since the scandal One thing that still strikes me and saddens me is ignorance, the inability to feel empathy, compassion for other people. the point of the discussion is not how old Monica was, whether she was an adult or not, you can be 30 or 40 y but he is still the president of the united states and you are no one. this difference is so intimidating to any person. so yes, it was abuse of power that there was between them, but the abuse came later when he exploited a girl's weakness, her genuineness in exchange for performance. so whenever he needed her, he made her think he was in love , he gave something to please her and then keep her on the razor's edge. I know many of you won't even read the message I just hope you have a little more understanding and humanity. that now there is little of humanity around.

However, it is kicking his family while they are down for her to divulge such revolting details about their flirtation and sexual interactions, and it demonstrates a lack of respect for a fellow woman to be so flippant about having an affair with her husband. She says herself in the video that she didnt consider the repercussions for his family at any point, this video is about her. Just because Monica was younger than bill does not make her innocent in this case. She had a history prior to bill with sleeping with a married man so she very well knew what she was doing and is just as guilty as bill. Both parties should obviously have never acted on the relationship and are equally wrong.

I was 16 when all this went down, & looking back, so much is different. She acted more 'adult-ly' than did Clinton, Starr, Tripp & all the rest in many ways. Having said that, I think Me Too has also made us lose sight of just how much of this was instigated, & reciprocated by her, too. Just 'looks' so much different' than it did back then.

Monica has a special place in our society. Thousands do what she did everyday, and people who are older and wiser than she was at that time. But Monica was, in a manner of speaking, "chosen" to teach people that you're gambling with your and others' futures when you choose the infidelity card. She has paid so much more than others, but is a teacher to us all.

At the time this interview aired I was working for a company that provided the signal for C-Band satellite (the large ones people use to have in their backyard). Anyway, we honestly did not know until 10-15 minutes before the top of the hour that our customers were not going to have access to this interview (some movie came on instead) Those customers were MAD!!! They had every right to be mad and we couldn't give a good answer what was going on. Some customers had invited their friends over to watch (like you would a Super Bowl party). The next day we were sent an e-mail with an "explanation" that made no sense at all. Something to do with the contract concerning here book deal. It's funny now, but it was not funny at the time. Customers were calling in for DAYS complaining about it.

Seems like the first “married man” was an adult employed by her high school and she was, what, a senior. Now this is sex abuse due to the abuse of power. Same two years ago. Maybe neither were child abuse due to her age but the married men had vows they took, not her. They also were in authority and held power when she did not. Again, they had the weight of responsibility that she did not have. Not best judgement on her part and i have a feeling she has learned her lesson but if you look at who should have held the brunt of the blame here for their age, their responsibility to their spouses and their positions or jobs, clearly it should be these two men. I really like clinton as a president and speaker but When you’re a person in authority (male or female) and in the public eye, You have to be even more careful than the average person and understand that a crush from a student or employee under their “rank “ that is encouraged by them or acted on can have dire emotional and public consequences for both parties and their parents.
