@@psycheinc-theSLC I think she is just as good singer as Carey & Dion, different but not inferior. As with Whitney Houston, I think she was the best vocalist, but Monica is more creative, more versatile,more chameleon.I don’t know , to compare beetwen fantastic singers is not really useful, but if Monica did not have the problem she had with the recording company ,she could have made it to the anglo market and be such a celebrity as those singers. Still, I think she made a choice to be happy with herself, and I believe she produces herself now all his work,and is happier being independent.Not everything is money and fame in this life.

Spanish bullfights are spellbinding. There is a mix of brutal force, horrific fatality but also elegance at the same time. (Check out Francis Cabrel - (French singer from the south-west Occitanie where bullfighting is still practiced- It's called corrida' kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZ7Qm36ZnKyKrLc. It is a wonderful song sung from the point of view of the bull. It will not leave you indifferent.) Navarro's voice reminds me of such a scene- neither the bull nor the matador. Her gestures seem tqo inherit such a lot from the movements of flamenco too - the Spanish psyche - at least to my probably uneducated opinion.

My first reaction was ok, she's giving me young Kylie Vibes with her look. I can see why this took her to stardom. Who the hell comes out of the gate belting a tune like that? Not many and when they do there is no looking back. LISTEN TO HER!!!! When she belts it out her chest and throat just open and the power flows. She has pipes for days. I'm just enamored by her vocals and her ever-changing look. She's like a chameleon.
