Just as an FYI, the song is about a famous Diva who had the nation at her feet. Everyone adored her. Then the Germans came and WWII happened. She lost it all. And she had to do everything to survive while war went on all around her. It is a powerful song. One that can only be sung by Monica. All of her songs have a message or a deep story. Even the songs she covers are because they convey a message. Like the song, Doble Corazon (of two hearts) it is the story of her grandmother who lost her husband during the Spanish Civil war. They came at night and took him away. Never to be seen again. But, she waited for him none the less. Waiting while pregnant. She never married again because she continued to wait always asking why this land of two hearts took him away from her. So powerful. And the music can be considered chaotic in its speed (I love it). And, it is done on purpose to convey the chaos experienced with in the story. Sorry it so long. Hope I explained myself correctly. 🤞🏼😊
