This song was so therapeutic at such a young age. Monica helped me through such a hard choice with this masterpiece. Went through this with my first love from age 4 and how we grew up most don't make it out. He got caught up with the wrong crowd and she told me to love myself more. That gave me the courage to walk away. Time passed we reconnected and he said that hard choice made him turn his life around. Today we're married and have a gorgeous child. He is such a great husband, dad and provider. 🥰

Absolutely because I was waiting for 5 years on a man I was with but he kept chosing the street and street females I couldn't understand why because I was doing all I could for this man and he still wouldn't do right all I did was work and come home and be there for him when he needed me but when I needed him he was never there when I called he didn't answer he texts I had to realize for myself that this wasn't the person for me and I'm wasting myself in my life away waiting on somebody that's not going to change in our life is women we go through so much trying to please a man but now I'm trying to please I have learned if I'm not happy with myself I will let anybody run over me and do me any kind of way and that's not the life I wanted to and I'm here to let you know ladies that he's regretting it 100% but I won't have nothing to do with him because when you had this prize you didn't know how to accept it and keep it so I let that go with the past in the wind and it blew away it is you can see if I can smile on my face I am truly happy and blessed
