The worst was a haul from a fast fashion company for a vacation, and all the pieces were flimsy and cheap-looking and feeling. The best purchase is Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede paired with English Pear and Sweet Pea; this is my signature scent. I always get stopped and get compliments❤. 3

I completely get you on the fast fashion haul disappointment-been there, and it’s always a letdown when the pieces don’t match the vibe you’re going for. But your signature scent combo? Chef’s kiss! One thing that got me to only buy things I absolutely love is, I met a older lady and she has so many amazing pieces but she regrets buying so much because when you get older it’s just money down the drain she said so now if it’s not something I feel I can live without I don’t buy. I’ve definitely purchased a few pieces I wonder what was I thinking. In your case everything you’re not a fan of looks great so I can see why you bought them to begin with ❤❤

Your worst isn’t so bad but Fashion Week might be your Achilles heel. My worst..a pair of Cult Gaia sandals…they were so loud and kept “click clacking” and to top it of my foot kept sliding forward..it was like a 2.5 inch mule….and they went to The RealReal and they can stay there! My best by far my Citizens of Humanity black frayed hem barrel jeans. I wear those puppies at least once a week….loving the wide winged out barrel so much I got a second pair in a tan denim and just may get the medium blue wash next. I know everyone isn’t a fan but if you are a long legged short torso person these jeans will look terrific on you!

Sounds like those Cult Gaia sandals definitely weren’t meant to be a long-term relationship! 😂 I totally get the click clacking struggle-it’s like a fashion statement, but not the one you wanted. As for those Citizens of Humanity jeans, they sound like a game-changer! The fit must be amazing, especially with that wide barrel shape. I’m here for jeans that work that well on your body type. And hey, if you love them in tan and black, I say go for the blue too! Keep rocking those jeans and never settle for those click-clack sandals again!

I really don't have purchases I regret getting. I do have some thoughts about some of the luxury fashion gyrlies who subscribe to, buy luxury because they're better quality. While in most cases that may be true. However, we all know luxury shoes hurt your feet as ANY other shoe. Periodt. Luxury designers are using polyester, faux leather, vinyl(not even canvas), faux suede, fake gold/silver etc. So why are we still going crazy over sub-par quality? As for affordable fashion, I am becoming a fan. I have more than enough clothes that I don't wear out any item of clothing. I have a beautiful old navy coat that is 13 years old. Just change the buttons to refresh and update the look. 2025, only black-owned luxury for me. Shout out to the re-release of Fashion Fair. They never get the gyrlies love on KZbin. My dollars are appreciated there.
